The red goo is usuable, but if want to purify it further and or be more selective with alkaloids, there many paths can take. Can add abit of water and basify and extract with non polar solvent such as shellite/naptha, reduce and freeze precipitate. Or another route, basify and pull with acetone and evaporate. Really depends on what you want and what chimicals you have access to. Can even just redisolve in acetone or isopropyl alcohol and evaporate, keeping the jam in salt form, it might help get ride of any solid particule matter which made it into the extract.

This was made from A/B on Acacia bark, pull with 100% D-limonene solvent, salted out in vinegar and evaporated with heat.

Thinking of trying to put all my goo and oils I to some warm naptha to try seperate then transfer it to xylene for evap. Would this be OK to do? Or just dump all in xylene and evap. Sadly can't find heptane in aus at the moment.
