You should have powdered it to a flour consistency and you may just have have doubled that pull percentage?!?

The cause of the low yield turned out to be using too small of a vessel (1L) for the amount of bark. Using only 50g more than doubled the yield and resulted in more crystalline results.

The reason I didn't powder it is because I'm using it for pharmahuasca, and having some chunks makes it easier to handle.

If you use heptane and warm water bath for extraction you will pull every mg of DMT out of that. The key is to do the heptane extraction warm with the water ALL the way up to the neck of the bottle. And 2 things that I got that were invaluable tools in that extraction is a pipe tote pump and an ultrasonic dongle to break up emulsion so you heptane is NOT trapped in a layer of shit!
