Vertigo 01
Developing a method of taking Salvia divinorum orally (not smoking; not quidding) and tested it today while sketching. The working title is "Vertigo"—this is how it feels to me. Reach out if you are curious about the process!
So good! Would you say it represents how the experience "looks like" (visual effects), or is it more that it elicits the subjective feeling produced by Vertigo?

Vertigo is a good name by the way, catchy and probably very descriptive :D

I always experience some of the same visual / physical sensations while consuming Salvia divinorum regardless of administration method (smoking 80x, quidding fresh leaves, Vertigo). Lots of folks connect over “that salvia feeling,” but I’m fairly certain it is more subjective than the majority of people realize.

Representing exactly how a salvia trip looks and feels to me has been a struggle. Perhaps someday soon I’ll be able to convey my visions more accurately. Fortunately, Vertigo does allow me to pull more salvia-esque style into reality if I’m creating while on it. This drawing has been a bit of a revelation in that sense; It seems inevitable to create “with feeling” during the peak.

I drew half of this while quidding fresh leaves and the other half while on Vertigo. Both give noticeable physical / visual distortions, though I’ve never had hallucinogenic breakthroughs with any oral administration of salvia (only CEVs). If I had to compare it, I’d say the “Starter Dose” of Vertigo is equivalent to 1-1.5g of mushrooms, or one puff of 5x salvia stretched over three or four hours instead of ~15 minutes. The primary benefit is that it lasts long (peak can be ~30-60 minutes), so I have been able to pull significantly more inspiration from it. I’m sure someone could mega-dose and have a full breakthrough; that seems unwise to me.
