Freebase is converted to a salt in the stomach, so it works just fine.

Freebase may be a lil heavier on the gut too.

If freebase is turned into a salt in the stomach how come you need a MAOI for it to be bioavailable?

From my understanding you can dose a dmt salt without a MAOI and it will give an effect. Correct me if I am wrong please.

MAO will break it down regardless of form, hence necessary inhibition.

I've never tried it. But you can and let us know how it goes!

A DMT salt without a MAOI will be ineffective. And no DMT freebase reaches the intestines anyways as the acidic environment in the stomach turns it into a salt.

Think that, for example, DMT is present as a salt in chacruna +and every other plant that has it). And yet caapi is needed. Mimosa can be had on its own at high doses only because it has some of its own MAOI.
