1/2 gallon pickle jars???

Migrated topic.

I am planning on doing an extraction again this week but I want to scale up the individual jars because at the moment I am using 1 litre mason jars which I can only do a 50g extraction in. I can't get them any bigger over here in England other than the clip top jars but they have a rubber seal which your naphtha shouldn't really be splashing about on.
The next obvious choice is those big, broad pickle jars you see pickled eggs and various things in. But my concern is that I really need to be sure the jars I use are heat resistant. That's why I went with mason jars because they're intended to be sterilized under high heat. The last thing I want is a half gallon of caustic solution to come crashing out of the jar mid extraction because I didn't choose my jar well enough.
Does anybody know if this type of jar is safe? If so it will make my extractions so much easier.
I've tried to find manufacturers of this type of jar but had no luck so far.
Let me know if you can help, thank you

PS. Anybody curious as to why I'm making such large amounts, it's not just for me, several people have chipped in and we plan to get a few grams between us each time. We lost out last time due to misunderstandings in the tek and so we bumped up the scale this time to make up for our losses.

I've tried that kind of jar before. The glass is thin
I had one break on me, luckily it was in a hot water bath
So it cut loose in a pot with water and didn't cause a disasterous
Spill . The caps on the ones I tried were an issue
No threads just a twist on cap with a plastic coating
On the inside that will disintegrate when it touches naphtha
And fall into your solution . If you try a jar like that never let it sit anywhere without
A container under it . The thin glass is worrisome .
