Actually, with a modicum of caution IM is great, although somewhat wasteful route. Every1 I know who tried has been impressed. It produces a powerful, long (up to 45 min) unforgettable trips.

On the contrary, inhalation of rather basic, hot FB may be harmful. Smoked Spice is always harsh to my lungs and I suspect this harshness adds to sometimes bad experiences during trips.

Of course you need clean, sterile fumarate and somebody experienced with needles.

I have to disagree with the experience part, especially for IM. IV would be a lot riskier for some one who was shooting up for the first time but there is a literal "bank" of medical literature on how to do this properly. I am a responsible adult and with care it can easily be done with out any previous experience. I actually went to nursing school when I was younger, about 20, and they do the exact same thing in medical situations with students. You read all the medical literature so you have an understanding of exactly what your doing and how to do it. I administered several IV's in the hospital and the 1st one was just that, the 1st one, of my life ever. Funny thing though the Nursing professor told us if we were asked by the patient if "we had done this before" we were supposed to say yes. This is also how physicians train for surgery, they digest and study all of the medical literature, then they move to real life subjects. With an integral knowledge and understanding of IM and IV administration, I absolutely believe it can be done safely. Im not going to list all the proper techniques and procedures, but for instance I used a .22 Micron filter on all my solutions. Which filters out any biological mater, including viruses, and makes the solution completely sterile. Another thing is this is not something one does all the time, at least not for me, I have done it 3 times and am only considering doing it one more. I got my GVG so I have abstained from trying IV DMT for now! If your smart, safe, and take proper precautions it can be done safely. IM DMT is super simple, IV DMT though takes a lot more precaution and research. And I want to conclude that I am not recommending this, at least not IV DMT, however I could recommend IM DMT. Its just the fact that there is an unknown level of error in the purity of DMT Fumarate via FASA to say that it can be safely IV injected. Although I did read that that is actually case but theres no way to be certain

Don't inject DMT that has been just precipitated FASA. It still contains gross amounts of solvent impurities.

It is NOT SAFE to inject anything that has been extracted from plant matter with industrial purity solvents. But, any chance of possible harm can be greatly reduced with basic purification techniques. Try at least recrystallizing your FASA precipitated fumarates.

The most damage you'll likely cause is muscle soreness due to excess fumaric acid. That is quite unpleasant.

You are still at risk for an abscess, either benign or infectious, using a micron filter will immensely help avoid the chances of this.

100mg was plenty for me, If it wasn't enough for you, Up the dose. Simple.
IM is a very interesting route of ingestion for DMT, (intense extended experience) I would absolutely recommend the actual experience.
But,
I would not recommend the procedure for safety reasons. No matter how much you sugar coat it and talk about how safe it CAN be. It remains a HIGH RISK method of administration. You are opening up your body to infection each time you inject something into it, you are always at risk of an abscess. All you can do is reduce the likelihood of complications.

0.2 um sterile syringe wheel filter would be the preferred option but they are expensive and hard to find.

10 micron filters are available from harm reduction suppliers, no questions asked. Filtering twice will remove all the solid particles but not the micro organisms. I have posted on this in IV thread Injecting DMT - Welcome discussion - Welcome to the DMT-Nexus

They are not that hard to find. You can get them on ebay no questions asked. The best filters in my opinion for filtering parenteral solutions (IV, IM, etc) are these => Acrodisc 0.2 uM posidyne membrane syringe filter The filter has a pore size of 0.2 uM wich filters bacteria. The nylon 77 membrane is positively charged and will retain viruses and endotoxins. A bit pricey at $4 each, but your health is worth it.
