Back again to attempt to understand more about initial acid boil phases prior to defat and adding base. id like to start with 200g acrb and was wondering what others recommend as far as acid boils, combining boils and then proceeding with the extraction once all plant matter is filtered out. I have never conducted an acid boil REDUCTION. I usually start by soaking acrb in an acid bath (2-3pH) then add a saline solution then base. My question is whether or not doing the acid BOILS and subsequent reductions will increase the efficiency or yield as ive been having issues with plant matter remaining  suspended near the meniscus, thus making it difficult to pull/separate NPS from aqueous solution without pulling trace plant material.

ive read that i should boil the plant matter 200g acrb to 500ml h2o strain, and repeat, up to 3-4 times then adding all filtered bark solution and further reducing it prior to adding saline and then base.

having issues with a new source acrb not producing like im used to, and seeking ways to increase yield.

all advice welcome!
