I used cybs hybrid salt tek with 100 g of MHRB and ronsonol as the NPS.
Per advice I read online, I increased water (by feel didn’t measure). I heated both basified bark and NPS with warm water before adding it to the pulls. The naphtha didn’t separate so I added more lye. I took great care to not pull in any basified bark solution when pipetting. If I saw any enter the pipette I squirted it out into a smaller container, cleaned the pipette then put it into my collection vessel.
I did 5 pulls total, haven’t measured yield but it looks to be at least 1% (still scraping).
when I freeze precipitated, the bottom of the dish contained this gooey brown substance. I’ve read that this is nn DMT due to the photopolymerization.
1. My question is, how do people separate their crystal’s from the goo? Just by scraping up the crystals incorporates the goo into my crystals. The result is this tar like clump of yellow crystals and goo brownish yellow goo.
2. Second question. I’ve thought I read that the new understanding is that a re x is not necessary for MHRB and cybs salt tek. Can someone confirm this?
3. And finally, cybs tek didn’t call for a water wash.. Is it still recommended?
