2.5 kg mimoza extraction help please!

swim has 2.5 kg bark from brazil and decided to make a big extraction.
swim got 8 lt 3 big glass jars so he make an extraction plan like this.
swim s gonna use blab tek.

in the normal recipie

450 gr bark
1000 ml vinegar
500 ml water + 250 lye
+ 1.75 lt water
100 ml xylene

swim used for each 8 lt jar

820 gr bark
1822 ml %4-5 apple vinegar
911 ml tap water + 444.5 pharma quality lye
3188 lt tap water
180 ml %99 xylene * 4
%99 acetone + fumaric acid

he prepared jars with this ratios

he made the first two pull in a few hours and got xylene very open color
for the third pull he waited 1 day and got more yellowy .

he put the first two pull in a jar
and the third pull another jar

and yesterday swim decided to prepare FASA and start putting into the xylene slowly

but the jar filled with 1-2 pull xylene was not get cloudy much.
and the third pull jar seemed ok in the begining

but now the first two pull jar stop changing color completely and he got a very very low yield like a 1-2 grams with the first two pull

and the third pull still continue. it seems gonna give more yield then the 1-2 pulls. but this was not the yield he was expecting. somehing gone wrong but he doesnt know and try to understand.


what would you advice to swim in this situation

he has incredible yields before with the same tek.

only difference he made before extractions and this extraction was shaking. he decided not to shake this time because he read without shaking less dirt will be in the xylene. can it be the reason ? or what you think ?

Did you do many cycles of mixing and letting stand before each pull? If not, next time you do pulls, mix better. Shaking is not necessary but you can mix thoroughly many times over and over with stiring. (From your description this might be your problem)

Was the whole mimosa mix properly black? If not, add more lye.

How long did you wait for it to crystallize before trying to retrieve the DMT? If a week or less, leave it for at least another week more, sometimes it takes long to fully crystallize. Add more FASA after retrieving the DMT and let it stand for another week and see if more crystallizes.

By the way I hope all this DMT is not gonna get sold or given away indiscriminately, its a lot of spice there, but im sure you already know that and will take good care, right?

thanks for the response endlessness. swim is sure that the basification is done well. he used enough pharma quality lye and the mimosa mix is look black. now swim is waiting for the 4th pull. this time he is gonna start stiring. for the first 3 pulls he did not stir even once. couse he afraid there will be dirt in solvent. swims before experiences he finished crystalization mostly 24 hours. he seperate the solvent and tried to add more fasa but he did not see much crystalization after. and all swims experiences first 3 pull he got 90% of the crystalls. this time if it's because not mixing it will be reverse. hope it will be done well at the end. swim loves spice alot. and he is planning to go to amazon and share some spice with shamans in iquitos. and he is gonna give a try to changa.

Oh wow, you didnt even stir once? Of course thats the culprit right there.

Dont worry your alkaloids arent lost, just stir it a few times, next pulls will yield you a lot if you do.

Forget about "dirt" worries, impurities will stay in the solvent and the fumarates will precipitate. And even if impurities would precipitate, you can always clean them up with simple IPA/acetone wash and/or when you convert it to freebase with water crystallization as in BLAB
