2 year old MHRB Powder Questions?

Hello,

If one were to have 2 year old MHRB powder stored in a cool dry place, is an ascorbic acid wash necessary?
If it is necessary (or very beneficial) how would one go about doing this?
Chemistry skills are remedial
Keeping steps to a minimum would be helpful for a first pull.

You can keep bark in a cool dry place basically as long as you want without having to worry about degradation.

nope! had some two and a half year old mhrb in a closet and it had a excellent yield without any washing!
