Couple of days back I found these spiny peyote look-a-likes. Unfortunately in hardware stores the cacti are all labeled 'Cactus Canarias' so for two of them I didn't found the real names yet. I bought a couple of each to do some testing with later on.
The below one is a G. Horstii. According to some online sources it contains mescaline.
The top left imo resembles a couple of yeas old Wiliamssi but with a spine here and there. By the looks of it I would expect it contains actives because it looks so damn similar. I couldn't find a name for it but it is noticeable different from older Horstii.
The top right is the least lophlike but I like it's peyote form factor. I might contain actives as well. Also from this one I don't know the name.
Then there is my old williamsii caespitosa which thinks it's a Pachanoi It was so seriously etiolated a couple of years back that I decided to keep it stretching by placing it in near a small window facing north.
