5-MeO-DMT and FASA?

Forgive me, I'm sure this question must have been answered by this point, but I searched the forums to the best of my ability and all I could find was speculation and people going back and forth on the answer to my question.

Does the FASA method work to precipitate out 5-meo-DMT and if so, does the Na2CO3 approach to turn DMT fumnarate back to FB work with the resulting 5-MeO-DMT salt as well?

If these questions are still unanswered I'll do my best to figure it out once my research is ready, but if it's already established one way or another I would prefer to use this time to structure my research methodologies accordingly.

I'm not sure on the FASA, perhaps someone with moar chemistry knowledge will chime in, but I don't really see any reason it shouldn't work.

I do know that the soda carb conversion will work to turn the salt to freebase.
