5hr harmaline hell

So after work yesterday I decided to try my FV tincture with harmaline.
I googled around for some reports on erowid and thikal etc and
decided to go for about 200mg.
Boy was I cocky.
My ego thought for some reason that
I weren't going to get sick...I was wrong.

The nausea was incredible.

I was sitting in the fetus position in the shower not moving an inch for
about an hour, sitting still not moving about felt "less" nauseating.
Every slight movement made me feel like vomiting but I never did.
Starting to look like a raisin I decided
to move out of the shower but went so ill I only got about 30cm stuck in a
muslim-prayer kinda postion with half my body still in the shower
and the rest outside with my face to the floor.
I stretched back my arm slowly turning the shower on and stayed there
for another hour.

The second try I grabbed my pukebucket and ran to my room like a hunchback on fire
Throwing myself on the floor with my head still in the bucket hoping
for a vomit but no, nothing.
I stayed in pretty much the same position on my floor for another three hours
listening to melody gardot on spotify. Then I managed to eat and go to bed.

But the experience wasn't all bad.
The visual and auditory effects where really nice, both had like a "flanging"
sensation to them especially the tracers. Some cool CEVs to.
When I was face down to the bathroom floor I started to see cats everywhere.
It's a floor with a lot of very random patterns in it but
as I looked at it I saw a cat which was part of another cat, and another,
and another and the cats just popped out everywhere I looked.

I was in a surprisingly good mood the whole experience trough which
was weird...and good.

So how do I get this experience without this awful nausea? Is it possible?
What about using it sublingual?
Definitely will go with less material next time, maybe less then 100mg.

Oh and I have been feeling a little sick the whole day today.
When I woke up I was having massive tracers all over the place
and thought that I had to call in sick but they all disappeared within 10mins
so I unwillingly went to work...nauseous.

harmaline is a harsh teacher that's for sure. Don't forget it's 2x + as potent as harmine and THH and also that it's a bit more on the toxic side.

It's great for using a small amount for a dreamy pharmahuasca, but I'd never have any desire to use it solo. That must have been awful!

SWIM has used harmaline solo and has enjoyed the psychedelic effects of it. It's nice at night before bed. Just don't over do it, especially if you are prone to getting cyber sickness

All of the harmala alkaloids can trigger cyber sickness in susceptible people. These are the same people that usually get sea sick, air sick, etc., and can even get nausea from playing virtual reality games, hence the name "cyber sickness". It's caused by the brain getting several motion sensors from the body that do not match. The brain uses the eyes and ears to mostly get motion data, but also gets some from the body (legs, arms, etc.). If the brain finds that the eyes are giving movement signals that don't match the inner ear, that can trigger cyber sickness.

The reason harmala alkaloids can trigger cyber sickness is because they cause a delayed reaction to visual data. So that visual movement from the eyes happens just slightly after the same motion data comes from the inner ear. This very slight difference in timing causes cyber sickness.

The best way to stop cyber sickness is to close your eyes, and walk with your eyes closed. With your eyes closed, the brain cannot sense a time delay between movement seen with the eyes and movement detected in the inner ear.

Scopolamine STOPS cyber sickness. This is what NASA uses. This is present in Datura anoxia seeds. It will prevent the cyber sickness from triggering nausea. This is why I believe Bragmansia are added to some ayahuasca potions that are high in harmala alkaloids. Bragmansia contains scopolamine and that will prevent cyber sickness.

Next time, use a little less, and use 5-10 Datura inoxia seeds to block the cyber sickness.

Harmaline can be a fantastic experience if you are not one who suffers from cyber sickness. I think about 30% or so will get cyber sickness from all the harmala alkaloids if enough is taken.

I get nauseous in a dark room with eyes closed on high dose harmalas, that is when I move my head. It is accompanied by a heaviness where just turning the head an inch or two causes nausea and unease. Best thing to do at that point is sitting completely still. With harmaline it happens around 200mg, and harmine around 600mg. Harmaline does seem to be much stronger in this effect compared to harmine.

Once I thought I knew better and took 200mg of Harmline with 30g of Cactus Skin, extracted into Tar.

I puked violently for 12 hours straight, puking blood from my throat from being so torn up.

Harmaline takes no mercy! I try to never use it anymore...

Do anyone know if sublingual use will make me less nauseous or is it like Ron said that it's
all bout the motion sickness?
Dosage sublingual?
I'm not very prone to motion sickness so maybe I'm just sensitive and took an
overdose.

Will try with the inoxia seeds next time because I really liked the effects
other then the "bucket praying".
