6 Month old A.Floribunda extraction

Earlier in the year I was doing another extraction on A.Floribunda when a family emergency/situation arose which left me no choice but to shelve the project.

From memory, I had around 400ml of saturated shellite which i had intended on doing a mini A/B with and then attempt freeze precipitation. (I should mention that i have never had any success crystallizing A.Floribunda extract and even after freeze precipitation it always ends up as a honey coloured goo.... an active goo though) Anyway, at that stage the shellite solution had been collected in a beaker and then put into a dark sealed cabinet where it has been left to sit for the past 6 months or so.

Today, I decided to go and have a look and noticed that most of the shellite had evaporated down and was surprised to find that crystals had formed at the bottom of the beaker instead of a goo.

The remaining shellite looks somewhat dirty, so I guess my question is, would the lengthy evaporating process have helped separate the DMT from any NMT/other alkaloids or plant fats/oils that usually end up in these A.Floribunda extractions?

This is what i have managed to scrape from the beaker, though it is still a bit wet/oily so i will let it sit for a day or two to dry out some more while i contemplate my next step.

As mentioned it has been slowly evaporating for about 6 months, so I'm hoping its not something else that has formed over time, but it does smell like the good stuff so maybe i got lucky(?)

Any tips or suggestions for a clean up/re-x would be appreciated as i have not worked with crystallized product before and i would like to avoid botching it if possible.

Will be interested to see what you have. Sometimes I have gotten white crystal from floribunda that does not have much if any dmt.. its quite a variable tree. area to area seems to be highly variable. There are definitely otehr compounds in floribunda that crystalise beautifully but aren't really psychoactive..

Of course it could also be dmt but I have rarely seen it crystalise that well from floribunda

A.Floribunda seems to be fairly common around here, but it is interesting that in your experience you've found it to be quite variable, as I have extracted from several different trees, different locations and all at different times of the year and it has never let me down as far as an active end product goes.... always goo, never crystals.

Previously i had always used bark and phosphoric acid for extractions, but this last one I used mostly phyllodes and vinegar, so maybe that, along with the very slow evaporation might explain why i have crystals instead of goo? or maybe I just got lucky or maybe I've got nothing... I really have no idea.

Anyway I'll keep you posted once i work out how to go from here.
