Virus makes it seam like a disease aka HIV etc... Its more like a distraction or movie which we can chose to be a part of. Once you have traveled to "hyperspace" it is really hard to take our cultural "reality" seriously. These experience put the day to day to the test. Why should a piece of paper with a dead president be worth anything more than a piece of paper? Why should humans kill each other to acquire their land and resources? Why should religions destroy ancient ways and in turn erase whole cultures? The list goes on....
