Ok, well the time has come for me to get get off my procrastinating arse, stop mostly lurking and start contributing (im)properly...so I guess I should introduce myself 
A few years ago, a small quantity of Spice appeared magically in my hand. It showed my companion his past complete with orgiastic Hindu goddesses, while I was kicked on a carrier wave into a cartoon world. After flying over a future Manga city, I had my mind rifled through by an evil cartoon marmalade cat (one of six entities that appeared in six windows) and as I floated back down to earth I could hear voices laughing, saying "you wanted strange, you got strange!" :shock:
The next day the world appeared to have shed it's skin like a snake; revealing itself new, sparkling and bright again.
In the following years, I took part quite a few Aya ceremonies and started to form an ongoing relationship with Madre Ayahuasca.
But a desire to experience the magic of pure Spice again lingered with me, and at one of the ceremonies someone happened to mention that they'd extracted their own Spice and that it really wasn't that difficult.
My first thought was, "Great, if he can do it then I'm sure I can!"
Sure enough, a bit of searching led me to the Nexus and you can probably guess the rest...
And I'd like to say thank you very much to every one who posts here! It's been truly great to find such a place of support and exploration :d :d
