Rising Star
Hello Nexus,
As was stated in a previous topic,I learned while (frustratingly!) trying to add my 2 cents to some topics that I had to crawl before I could walk. Although there are many topics I would like to reply to,I love this aspect of the Nexus and am extremely comforted by the secrecy and not wanting to taint these boards with people simply looking for another way to get off at a music festival.
Now to where I sound like a hypocrite-the first experience was indeed AT A FESTIVAL! And while it does sound exaggerated to those that are inexperienced,it did in fact make an impact on my life and my way of thinking. Anything that could make someone who is completely skeptical to the power of the experience completely change their tune after a first time breakthrough deserves respect. After the first experience,I was converted. I understood what friends meant when they would say "This is not a drug, this is an experience". I immediately understood why they brought something of such power, and sad to say, high legal status,so far only to GIVE it away, and I in turn carried on the "pay it forward" tradition to those select few around me that I felt were ready to benefit from such an experience (all the while turning down previously mentioned friends saying "I heard that shit fucks you up! let me try it"). I believe that while everyone COULD benefit from the experience, not all are ready. Only true searchers and those that can let go of their ego can receive all of the benefits spice has to offer, and in my looks through this forum over the past months,I think I have found a place where my feelings are shared by the majority.
Now,(a little) about myself. I am an artist,a high IQ individual and an outside the box thinker that is known sometimes to respectfully play devil's advocate. I make everyone around me laugh due to the fact that I can poke fun at all around me,but none are offended due to my apparent good nature.
Well, this is my Intro Essay. I'm sorry it is not 5 paragraphs or formatted in MLA,but I think you guys get the jist! - hitchhiker42
