A comparison

I know this is all very subjective, but I'm about to embark on getting some cactus and extracting - having never tried mesc before and I'm curious if anyone would like to attempt comparing the experience to some of the psychedelics I've known and loved (Mushrooms, LSD, LSA, DMT, Pharma).

It would be cool to get a little insight from experienced nexians. The one friend that's done it, when asked, launched into some whacky Tommy Chong-esque "feel the fuzzy love" thing and couldn't really be very descriptive in his answer other than that. (I love guy, but sometimes he's a touch... well he's in his own groove.)

Cactus to me has always been gentle and kind, but serious. It seems to lack the goofy hilarity that accompanies mushrooms, but has the balance of LSD.
It's really it's own thing and must be experienced. As you know, words seldom do these types of things any justice.
All of the psychedelics I have done have many things in common, but each one has its own spirit and flavor and yet they are all cut of the same cloth. Similarly, there is a noticeable difference between just mushroom species!
In my experience, I don't think I could fathom a bad time with cactus, but that's not to say it's impossible. The worst I've gotten is an under dose!

I had mescaline HCl for the first time few days ago (so I cannot claim I am an experienced person here )

For my first dose I took 150mg, generally considered as a "light" dose. The onset was slow and warm, slower and warmer than even low dose of Mushrooms. Compared to low dose of Mushrooms (cca 1g of dried cubensis), 150mgs of mescaline made me feel less anxious, more OK with being around other, sober, people. Mescaline also lasted longer, with great and slow descent...

I cannot compare higher dosages yet, as I stil have to do proper experimenting. I would also be interested in what more experienced Nexians think...
