A doodle from my last Caapi & P. mushroom adventure

Just thought I'd share a colored pencil doodle I drew last weekend, since I rarely do artwork these days (can't exactly say why not). An old friend from art school and I had some Caapi & Psilocybe cubensis tea. Well, actually it was more of a stew than a tea, since we each had about 7 grams of kind shrooms. KABOOM!!! :thumb_up:

Started out being King Tutankhamen but look on a direction of it's own. It was really, really difficult to hold a pencil, let alone control it enough to draw. After a few failed attempts to keep myself focused enough on just one image, to draw anything at all... I used very tiny flicks of my hand to create the image. An hour later I was deep within a highly spiritual peak and a total whiteout experience.

and 7g with caapi? I cant imagine what that would do to me..3g without any harmalas is often times more than enough these day ha..I dunno why but my mushroom tolerance has dropped significantly compared to what it used to be.

Well, they were cubes, not cyans, so we indulged a little more. Honestly, I am usually very much the same as you are, my friend. 3.5 grams is customarily, my preferred volume, with or without harmalas involved. I've found that because of exploring DMT, my sensitivity to shrooms has be heightened, but I wanted to go to some of the same levels I perceive with vaporized Spice and my friend needs a lot to radically shift his more reality-based perception. He wanted an "epic experience" and he sure got one!!! :thumb_up:

I once had my sketchbook with me on 7g cubensis plus 100mg rue. Made an appalling black scribble. But then I sat at my easel and poked away at a half finished painting... Barely could hold the brush... But each stroke was a revelation. Changed my life and my art.

Also fell down the stairs that night. Ah, the agony and the extacy. Last time I take psilohuasca alone.

I've been staring at the Sunsets in the eyes.. and how they can be open white pupils with dark shadows or a closed eyelids, swimming in serenity .. beautiful.. multi-faceted piece!

That dose sounds absurdly crazy! Bravo on the heroic dose and this lovely drawring! You said that it was difficult, (Well, I'm SURE it was!) but this is really pretty. For some reason it made me think of Link from Zelda? Oh well!

I thank you all for your kindness. I purposely neglected to post the first 3 or 4 attempts to draw any of the constantly morphing visions I witnessed, while undergoing such a surge of psychedelic energy. My friend was simultaneously doing a rapid series of sketches, each one more intense and electrifying than the previous one.

As far as the dose... from a conversation with my friend, very recently, it turns out that we had consumed 5.25 grams of P. Cubensis and the yellow Cappi tea. Still a lot of juice... but I wanted to relay the correct amounts, after the fact. I was under the assumption that we had 14 grams of shrooms for dinner (sorry about the mix up, my bad).

Last Saturday, I did consume a full quarter OZ. of these same shrooms. This time, however, without the yellow Cappi tea. It was more intense and lacked the calming spiritual vibe that the harmalas had graciously provided. the body load was overpowering and I will admit it to you all, there were moments when I prayed for nothing other than to please, please, please... just be allowed to come down.

You know, that old nagging fear that you'll get lost in the concentric circles of an infinite number and level of formless dimensions of parallel being... and NEVER EVER COME DOWN OR COME BACK TO SELF. :shock:

Experientially, I was witnessing the lines of my own fixed mental parameters vanishing, being shattered into a billion particles of shimmering luminescence, then became scattered into a current of indescribable force of boundless expansion. This was understandably, both terrifying and so very, very lovely... I melted into it's pulsing Divine effulgence.

This triggered an overwhelming whiteout experience... and I can only say that it was illuminating, most humbling and deeply transformative. I still feel it's potent vibe within my soul. No, I didn't do any drawings, since I was barely able to sit upright for much of the experience. While it was definitely way, way, way too much for a smooth voyage into a psychedelic adventure, but it was exactly what I needed at this point in my life.

Next time I think I'll ease-back on the volume of cubes and stick with the more balanced formula, by adding the Cappi tea. It was something very special, to say the very least. :thumb_up:

I can imagine..7g of cubes is a gaint dose..5g is a giant dose..

I brewed up about a gram of cubes into a tea last saturday night for the first time in 9 months..and even that was a decent experience..not heavy or anything but enough to remind me of why I used to eat them soo often..and produced a lot of deep emotions..some dark stuff that I needed to experience. I think the last time I felt so much like myself was the last time I ate mushrooms.

I was eating them weekly for a while last year..usually 1-2g of cubes which for me can already produce mystical experiences with some nice visions..one night I had 3g in a tea and completely lost my mind..it was so much like vaping DMT and I spent a good hour or so right on the edge of a breakthrough like state..I eventaully had to get out of the apartment and walk around the city to calm down because I was being abducted by aliens.

Another night I had about 2.5g in bed with minxx(she had maybe a gram or less) and I spent a few hours in one of the most visionary experiences of my life.

See, I used to eat larger doses like 4-5g cubes often about 6 or 7 years ago..now I go just as deep as that with just 2g..I am not really sure why..maybe my nervous system just learned how to go into the state more.

I could not imgaine 5g with caapi at this point. Largest dose I ever had was maybe 5-6g of psilocybe cyans and that experience was probly on par with my deepest ayahuasca experience. It was the first time I ever heard the carrier wave and I have never heard it quite that loud since even with vaped DMT. My friends said I fell down and blacked out on the forest floor..but from my perspective I broke through. See I dont even want to know what that dose equates to in cubes, but it came on so fast. Everyone else ate less than me and I really did not realize how powerful these local forest mushrooms were..we were walking along the beach lined with old growth forest and suddenly I saw the ground turn into a tunnel around me. I kept walking with this tunnel vision and it it was swirling like a portal. I saw this same thing on my largest ayahuasca dose.

We followed the path into the forest to get to the spot we were going to camp at cus the police patrol the beach for campers etc..so we get into this thick old growth rainforest and I hear this buzzing so loud I thought I walked into a bee hive..I really thought that and I started smacking my head like a lunatic thinking there was bees on my head. Next thing I know I am in this space(hyperspace) and evbreything is made of super neon honeycomb grids that are vibrating..I am not really wondering where I am, who I am or what is going on..I am just there a part of this thing and there is no fear at all..I always felt that something else went on in that place that I either dont want to remember or was just too far out for me to be allowed to remember on this level..

I come to down on the ground in the forest a minute or so later with my friends all around me and the forest is literally glowing from within. I mean every tree had a luminescent energy grid within it..evrey plant every fern and I could see all of it in the pitch dark forest..the entire rainforest was vibrating and geometrical symbols sort of like energetic ying yangs were comming out of the trees and plants. It was probly the deepest nature experience I have ever had. Weird though how I broke though for only a few minutes at most..and I also came down from that peak after I woke up quite quickly..

Later than night I split half a blotter of LSD with my friend and lay in the bushes off to the side of this giant bonfire we had and experienced myself shrink down to atoms and then rebuild all the way back up from atoms, then molecules..from molecules to cells, to tissues and organs and then a human being at which point I had a consciousness. It was a weird night to say the least. I never ever ate that many mushrooms again!

Funny though, I never had any fear at all the whole time other than when I thought I was being attacked by bees.

Mushrooms are just insanely powerful things..and I love them so much.
