Love, love love love
A girl and her sister, they were both beautiful
They lived happily in the woods of golden glow
Until their mother got sick and died one fateful night
And they had but one another to get through the blight
What came next was an awful curse that demanded one of them
And the girl said she would go to save her beloved friend
Her little sister, the only person in the world that she had left
But her sister cried bitterly and asked to be taken instead
But it was too late, oh it was too late
The girl had sealed her fate
Frozen in time and space her sister remained
While the girl went through the gate
Into another world
She was abruptly hurled
All her memories stolen
And replaced by lies
Along with her face
Another one in its place
So that she wouldn't
Remember a thing
But the hole in her heart remained
She traveled the world in vain
There was no place anywhere in the world
There was no home for the poor lost girl
Anywhere she went
Any way she bent
Everything felt wrong
Nowhere did she belong
But her love was stronger than the spell
And after a lifetime of dreaming
She woke up to remember her home and tell
Herself she would make it back believing
There was a way
But for now she had to stay
Going back on her own
Out she would be thrown
Unless she was prepared
A little by little she started to remember
A little by little the dream she lived faded away
Her mother had taught her about herbs and magic ember
And she found the right dream herbs to take
And she dreamt with her eyes open
To see the reality behind her dream veil
And her sister was still waiting and her tiny nose
Pretty face and skin so very pale
Made the girl cry and through her teary eyes
She promised her soon she would be home again
In her dream within a dream
Her sister whispered her real name in her ear
And so the spell was broken
And everything started to gleam
With the colour of deception, it was clear it was mere
Illusion from which she had been woken
But unless sent by a great great force
Travel between was not easy of course
There were things in place built to prevent her
From traveling and staying, but she decided she would enter
At the bane of death
Because life without a home and love
Was like holding her breath
Until she would drown
So a frowning power above
Said it would allow it
When her mind was ready
But not a moment before
At hearing this she wore
Her tears of happiness with pride
She had found her!
Oh she had found her!
She had found her sister and her home
A little longer!
A little longer!
And then she would no longer be alone
(The difference between a poison and a medicine, between life and death, between a dream and reality, is perception. The value of something, be it anything, is not a given, it's simply the value given to it, and different people give different things different values.)
