A little about me

Migrated topic.
Hi just thought i'd say a little about myself.

I am a keen explorer of the mind and feel like its my destiny to do so.

Since i was young i've always been interested in the effects of psychoactive substances on the mind. Ater my first mushroom trip (liberty caps) i researched a lot about psychedelics, their effects and history.

I may not be as well educated as a lot of the members on this forum but still hope to be welcomed like any well educated member would be.

Since i have tried LSD and DMT among other entheogens i have been spending most of research on these compounds.

I haven't read many books but the books i have read include :-

DMT - The spirit molecule - Rick Strassman
Fingerprints of the gods - Graham Hancock
Supernatural - Graham Hancock
Inner paths to outer space - Rick strassman/Slawek Wojtowicz

I won't go into too much more detail about me but i thought i would share this

thanks :)

I am right there with you. Never have I felt a greater "call".

Growing up I always heard people talk about being "called" to be doctors, priests, firefighters, etc. I heard the "call" to explore mental realms long ago but dismissed it for being silly.

How very immature and hidden my true self was once.

Howdy,
Also new here, and also felt the call since a young age, and you've read more of the books on the subject than I (though I've sucked erowid and bluelight dry). My life got much better once I figured out that school makes me pathologically self loathing and destructive, and got out of that, and into working around food and reading the news and articles about astronomy.
The educated ones around here all seem quite helpful and nice.
Pleased to meet you.

Of course you are welcome, education isn't what makes an inquisitive, imaginative and intelligent individual. We are all here to share the same bond.. expanding our human experience!

I too have always felt that exploring the "other" was part of my spiritual development. No religion could ever bring me closer to the truth than exploring my mind and spirit through psychedelic exploration and dream work.

Welcome trouble the Nexus there are a lot of experiencrd and extremely helpful members here.. a treasure trove of knowledge!

Thank you so much glad to be made welcome. Feels good to be able to speak to people who are on the same wavelength as me.
Much appreciated

Welcome! Glad to have you! It's the quest for knowledge that's important, not having the biggest basket of it. I think you'll find loads of what you're looking for here. :)

Could you recommend any way I could be promoted to a member? I have already posted a fair few reports and tried to get involved as much as I can but still cannot post in the big boys section.

Welcome aboard. As the others have said, you are very welcome, and your need to learn is what is important, as we all have much to learn on our own individual paths.

Peace

Macre

Can't wait to become one of the big boys on this site. I usually just creep around and read posts. Ayahuasca sounds like it'll be a blast. I can't wait for it to open my mind the way friends have told me it's done for them.
