A Long Awaited Journey

Migrated topic.

Rising Star
Hi all, this is my first post (of many hopefully :))
I have been reading other peoples reports for quite some time now, kinda of preparing myself for this magical journey and even after a mild taste of this journey I feel like I should share this among you guys

NOTE: All used via a friends Machine tek (which has ALOT of residue) & over the course of 3 days

Experience No.1

1 Hit

As this was my first experience I decided to try the spice residue left in my friend's machine (which I later acquired) - as they had lost much spice before by not using wire-mesh to catch the liquid I was not able to know the measurement of which I took.
Being extra cautious I tried just 1 big hit and held it down for as long as possible and within moments of exhaling I got the incredible rushing sensations and "watery" OEV's - some friends where trying to talking to me via ventrilo (like skype application) and I simply couldn't understand a single word they were saying, I knew they were talking but each word didn't make a bit of sense.
After 5 or so minutes of this "watery" effects / blurred sound, baseline soon came around

Experience No.2

6-7 Pints Cider
1 Hit

I had been out getting drunk and when arrived back home I decided to try some spice. Straight after taking 1 big residue hit I felt the effects but this time it felt a lot stronger and I felt like I was having trouble breathing (maybe from smoking too many cigarettes down the pub). I was getting the "watery" OEV's and when I closed my eyes I seemed to pass-out, maybe the combination of alcohol was a bad idea (which I won't replicate again)

Experience No.3

2 Hits

After experiencing 1 big hit of spice residue I knew that I would get the similar visual "watery" effects.
A few moments after taking the 2nd hit (1st hit did not create much vapour) I got the usual incredible rush sensation (no audible/buzz sounds) then I knew straight away I needed to lie down and ride the spice coaster.
I decided to try CEV's and as soon as I did, a movie like experience started, consisting of water/plasma colours filling my vision. After what seemed like 10 minutes of watching this beautiful colour whirling around, I decided to open my eyes and I immediately started experiencing the visual "watery" effects - this carried on for a few more minutes but then I could feel baseline coming and shortly arrived.

Overall

I have had some good experiences on many other chemicals but this was by far the most potent I have experienced, although it could seem a bit over-powering I don't feel scared by this. Although I am yet to experience the full effects - so my feelings could change.

Though when I know the time/settings are right I will try for a full 3 toke spice toke and without any computers/TV's to distract me and hopefully enter hyperspace :)

Hi Fax, thanks for sharing this! While I support the decision to not travel when drunk anymore, SWIM says she enjoys traveling after a single beer. She claims it takes the edge off of pure spice. Be cool, be well!

I definitely do not like, or condone, combining CNS depressants with CNS accelerators.
Try banisteriopsis caapi.

hey there, welcome to the forums.

Dont mix alcohol and Spice, I made the terrible mistake of smoking some changa once while I was drunk. Needless to say it hit me hard, I really got scared for my health.

thanks for the welcome guys, I certainly learned my lesson not to put alcohol in the mix.
I enjoyed the spice on its own (well residue) so much more :)

I've had one experience with alcohol like you mentioned - I got really drunk off some jug wine while camping, and I got the urge to smoke. I love to smoke when drunk. Unfortunately the only smokable herb I had was infused with Spice, so I loaded up a big bowl of that, without much caution. I did not have any of the normal apprehension or fear I experience before inhaling Spice, so I took four whopping hits. At the end of the fourth one, I started to hear what's described as a "Carrier Wave". It started in the distance, then came closer as I continued the fourth inhalation. Suddenly, I realized that the sound was that of the universe ripping apart, a sort of gateway into hyperspace. A voice in my head said, "You have smoked DMT". I quickly put the pipe down and laid back. I immediately shot off into this amazing space, much like that described by Terence McKenna, complete with hyper-colored gnomes who were talking to me, telling me, in essence, "Haha! You silly humans! Drinking that fermented grape drink and then coming here to visit! It's okay! It's okay! If you're drunk when you come here, it's okay, but it's better not too, because you can't pay attention and it's therefore a waste!". I felt like it was a waste in the sense that I was very drunk and clumsily wondering through gnome-land, but at the same time it was a very powerful experience that I haven't been able to replicate due to fear, and the feeling that something "over there" does not want me to "visit".

Anyways, sorry to hijack, look forward to reading your future reports, Fax. BTW if your signature advice refers to Spice, I am afraid I fail, I'm always afraid before, and never quite prepared for what happens after, though it has always turned out for the best.
