A lowering of the visual impact of Lucy

Hello there. Very experienced psychonaut here, three decades of work & fun with all substances and combos, in a variety of contexts, always having a great time both when doing it for fun and when doing it for mystical research.
I'd like to share a simple thing happening to me in the last couple of years, after : Lucy, which has always been my favourite psychedelic, has kinda lost the CEV. I still get all the good effects (including OEV with strong doses, but that is lowered too), but not especially stunning CEV. I still get CEV with shrooms, mescaline, Demetra, ecc.; but not with Lucy anymore, unless i do a dolphin-flip or smoke Demetra over it. Anyone has experienced that?

LSD tolerance builds quickly. You end up having to take more and more to get the same effect and eventually it can become muted and dull. Take a long break from it and the vibrancy returns. Psychedelics are largely self regulating IMO.

Hi,in my opinion there are bunches of differents L flowing around, i think not all the L we get as blotters or dropd is L25.

You can get L starting from different sources and i think that depending on where you starts from you will have a different ending.
Honestly i think that most of it is not that 25 we all talking about.
And i don't know if its possible to analize samples until that difference.
Maybe some chemical guru will answer you better.

Thanks to both for the replies but mine is neither case. It is not a case of tolerance, as I do not trip often, I trip hard but not more than 4-5 times per year; it is not a case of bogus Lucy as I always took lab-tested, top quality blotter.
It is more like a case of "getting used" to the CEV effect, I'd like to know if somebody has experienced something like that.

I don’t notice a decline in closed-eye visuals.
But when I was younger and tripping often, I needed high doses to get strong CEVs. Nowadays it’s much easier to experience beautiful visuals on lower doses.

What helps me is focusing intently on what I see with my eyes closed, I suspect it’s the concentration that helps a lot with building these images in my mind. Sometimes it feels like even if it’s a very tiny visualization, that by focusing on it I can kinda unwrap it like a present.

Anyway so maybe next time you trip you can try to focus on the things that you do see, and hopefully they return🫶
