A most peculiar casino experience...

Migrated topic.

Greetings, all! I am very used to writing to and for myself following spice trips, but I've been so inspired reading some of the posts here I decided to dig back and find an experience that I have integrated and revisited to share with you all. Without further rambling, here it is:

God's Casino
I was on the tail end of an LSD experience, about 8-10 hours in (Now that I think about it, I think it was a year ago this Easter weekend, Saturday night/Sunday morning, to be precise). The visuals and the rest of the "physical" effects were gone, but I was still firmly entrenched in the psychedelic mindset. Myself and two others went into a warm, woodburning sauna to decompress from the day's events. Very cool place to experience the spice sacrament: all cedar wood, with lots of neat lines and patterns; more importantly, a very peaceful and relaxing place.

I loaded up a pipe with about 50-60mg of spice to pass between myself and one of my friends. I got the first rip, and it must have been a doozy. I held it in while I passed the pipe, and let go just in time to cash out the bowl with a big second hit. I knew it was going to be a good trip as I let the smoke slowly escape my lungs and I could see it leave my mouth, even though I'm pretty sure my eyes were closed at that point.

I don't really remember what happened next, but I just started laughing. Pure, unstoppable hysterics. I could hardly breathe. For the full 4-6 mins of the peak experience, I was immersed in uncontrollable maniacal laughter. I managed to squeeze out a "holy shit, dude!" and an exaggerated "ha-ha" every now and again, but I think that was only because I had to stop laughing and breathe. My eyes were closed the entire time. It was just a kaleidescope of bright lights, colors, and symbols (Clubs and spades were one of my frequent hallucinations in my early trips, odd because I'm not a card player of any sort). The noises were of a slot machine hitting the jackpot. Mostly, it was the laughter.

There was also a sense of a male entity the entire time, just observing. I felt that presence frequently for a few month period when I would trip. It seemed to be the same "person" every time.

I felt very bad afterwards for my friend who blasted off with me, as he was entering a mild trip when I started laughing, and to him, my face just melted in a rather scary fashion.

I told my friends my first impressions of the trip, and the first thing I compared it to was a Casino. Then, I realized it was God's Casino (I'm of a Catholic background, back in my youth, but I don't think I was specifically blaspheming against Him here; then again, I may have been). When asked what my impressions of God and his Casino were, I answered that he was smug. It made sense at the time...

So that was one of my most memorable DMT experiences. I've launched many times since then, but never have I returned to the Casino I won big at. Maybe someday, I'll line up the cherries on the one-armed spice bandit and be treated to another magical jackpot.

Thanks for listening!

Peace & Joy
