Evening Nexus,
An hour ago I smoked 60mg of 1:1 10x caapi changa. Before hand I had spent 30 minutes meditating, which was quite profound on it's own -- feelings of accelerating and peculiar shifts in consciousness occurred which I haven't before experienced during meditation. After the proper mindset was achieved, and a quiet Tibetan singing bowl track had been put on, I proceeded to dose.
It was smoked in 2 long, slow, deep takes from the bong and held in as long as possible. After the 2nd hit was held and exhaled, I closed my eyes and was greeted by intense feelings of familiarity and déjà vu. As the visions began to come to structural fruition, I was struck by a sudden sense of melancholy. Suddenly I was shown a scene not unfamiliar to Earth itself. The supremely exotic and alien mindscapes seen in past experiences were all but void, as the tone was reminiscent of an African grassland; the entities themselves looked very human rather than interdimensional. It felt very much from the Earth as opposed to from the other side of the universe. Perhaps the presence of concentrated Caapi alkaloids lended to the very nature-based premise of this experience.
The scene was one of atrophy. As I struggle to remember many of the finer details, I'll post what I wrote immediately upon returning to conceivable reality:
"Multicultural children and families in fields, crying for the loss of Mother nature. Burning forests, and environmental atrocities elaborately painted against the back of my eyelids. The inevitable result of humanity's ruthless and never-ending declaration of warfare against the planet. A deep sadness accompanied these entopic visions.
A plea for mercy from the intelligence of nature herself - as the loss of her will certainly be the end for us. When she goes, so do we, and yet we continue to ravish the soil from which we eat, poison the oceans and rivers from which we drink, and decay the very air from which we breathe. This myopic thinking wll cost us everything."
I apologize if my writing is a bit scattered, as I'm still feeling very mild effects and am trying to grasp the whole event. Though I figured since the message was so prominent, it'd be best to write as much out as I can before any more memory of it is lost. Basically it was a very planet-conscious trip, and will further reinforce my tree-huggery. I could feel the planet's sadness over what we are doing to it.
Upon returning I immediately was reminded of a line Terence McKenna had said,
"If we could feel what we're doing [to the Earth], we would STOP doing it!"
