I feel really stupid, I misread the info about DMT on wiki, it was the melting point, not the evaporation. No, what I meant was I originally thought that reaching 58c DMT evaporates in the solution it's currenty in and since the alkaline solution is heavier than a solvent, the evaporated DMT reaches the solvent and gets absorbed by it. So it seems that without some stirring and gentle shaking DMT won't get in contact with the solvent.Does it mean that I can fan my solvent the hell out and not worry about the lower yield? I know that some DMT my oxidize, but I've got plenty zinc powder, so it shouldn't be that much of a problem.
