A quick introduction and hello

micronaut

Rising Star
micronaut here fellow nexus users. A little older and wiser than I once was.

I have never experienced DMT but am quite curious.
I do have experience with and have taken many journeys with other hallucinogens. Peyote, Shrooms, LSD and once smoked some weed that was dusted. THAT was a crazy short lived trip.

Anyhoo.. looking to explore the nexus and get around to an extraction and journey...

Hello and welcome!

Considering your curiosity regarding DMT, I reckon you've come to the right place! I doubt you'll find anywhere else on the web that contains as much high-quality content on anything and everything psychedelic. On top of that, we have a tremendously cool community that I think you'll vibe with quite well.

I'm curious, what's the most important and profound lesson you have learned in all of your years of working with psychedelics?

Cheers!

Hey everyone I'm Dick Payne. I'm a macro doser I've never microed anything but I love love love seeing sounds and hearing colors. If you aren't very experienced please do not follow anything I suggest. Well I said hello and gave a bio as well as a disclaimer so have fun boys and girls

Hey Nydex, thanks for the welcome!

Short answer to your question;

There have been many lessons learned. One that stands out the most for me was a blotter trip. Started out ok [this was some strong blotter btw], I changed place and manner which turned out to be a bad idea. This trip started going downhill quickly. I could feel the downward slide coming on and had to do something to change up. l turned to my trusty turntable and headphones. Put a record on [The Who]. For the next 1-1.5 hours [could have been longer or shorter dunno], it turned into the most calming and happy experience. Came out happy and content. So I would say the lesson for this trip was that with the right adjustments a downhill slide can be turned around into something good.
