im sketchy- im an 28 year old single man from upstate ny. my interest are entheogens, mycology, all mountain mtb, hammock camping, and metaphysics and women.
i first frequented this site for the excellent threads on the science/chemistry aspects of dmt and its allies. very dedicated members! i am beyond impressed. ive learn an immense amount of information even before making this first introductory post.
i love this site but i definitely have one gripe, it seams that people run away with the scientific - quantification side of the spice. this obstructs them from thinking different which is the GOAL for the spice and the experience.
1 have had friends and also noticed nexus members, describe they're dmt trip to me like they are just a simple neurochemical light show ect. people asking if the events that take place are "real" or not. what I think is that your experiences are as real as you what them to be. scarey enough, sometimes even realer than that. you manifest your own reality. this comes from deep inside your thoughts and your imagination subconscious. there is a constant flow between the subjective and the objective that spice is trying to illustrate. thats why there is a "veil" imo
this is the part that could be REALLY hard to belive but since there is so many seasoned travelers here i dont think i will have to try too hard to corroborate this story.
i find that spice lets me completely leave my physical "body" and paints my consciousness across the astral plane. people should perhaps familiarize theyre selves with a bit of metaphysical nomenclature. when your transfixed- your sensitive enough to leave your "physical" body. this leaves you susceptible to astral entities (machine elves, jelly fish ect..). these entities are mixed in manor anywhere from demons to archangels. might sound like a bunch of new age bullshit, but i have seen people in full blown lunacy after seeing things that they shouldnt have after people travel to where they thought they couldnt. theyre belief system was blown too smithereens it left with no other explaination other than im nutz.
there are a few dangerous things that uninformed people cannot be ready for even if they are taking recommended doses and so forth i have come to notice (even more so than other entheogens) people having epileptic episodes during or even days after taking spice. EVEN DAYS AFTER SMOKING DMT. i attribute to becoming more sensitive to trance states and spontaneously leaving your body or "astrally projecting"
i know people that have had inexcusable dmt benders trying to draw out their experience. usually someone with a addictive attitude. mindstates like this develop from origins that are less than "pure". this leaves them susceptible to more malicious astral entities feeding off of their energy. also manifests their own particular demons(remember kids, thoughts are things). if you have no real concept of shamanic healing and you are having horrible negative dmt trips i advice you to stop smoking dmt and do REAL soul searching. talk to others about their experiences, build your own hypothesis. continue at your own speed no one elses. dmt is a tool used to identify these issues. these negative entities can attach theyre selves like a evil ex girlfriend- and ruin your life equally if not worse.
- i recommend that you devise some sort of protection ritual that is congruent with your own belief system. you dont have to go all crazy burning sage everywhere or dance around naked in the woods first. something as simple as brief meditation with a positive mantra will help considerably.
- also when i have the perfect dmt trip i relive it even write it down. you brain treats the memory differently when you have a physical connection to the experience (writing it). relive it over and over again by reading and reminiscing. when your ready resume your session at a different time and take it further from that point. ive also experienced some multidimensionalities of the physical plane using this technique.
