A Vision

I thoought I would share with people here my Vision about things, and where I see what is wrong, cetra. I explore a lot about this at my blog which you can link to from my profile.

In my profile for 'occupation, and interests' I put 'explorer' as thats best describes my attitude really. ALWAYS exploring. Is there an end? Well, whereever there's an end there is the beginning, right?

I am very into wondering about polarity~~~how you can't have light without dark, inside without outside, finite without infinite, humour and seriousness, mind without body, life without death, and so forth. I believe a big problem throughout our bloody history is the non-understanding of this.

So I see a difference between duality and polarity. Duality is when polarity is not understood, so, for example, you will have belief systems which believe there should be, or you can have only light, or that 'darkness' does't realliy exist. The same ones would usually claim that you can have 'good' without 'bad'.

major belief systems that are prominent in this world are I believe dualistic, which include the J-C-I belief system as well as Eastern philosophical and religious belief systems, and the secular a-theistic belief systems and scientism

Maybe it is no surprise then that in BOTH East and West, past and present. there has been a mycophobia, and a general fear and prohibition against entheogens! At least as is commonly known about anyhow.

To dig polarity would mean that you would know you are immortal now. There is no 'hero's quest' to attain immortality, because all of that monomyth is part of the very problem I am wanting to see through.
This makes sense to my psychedelic sense particularly. The very first psychedelic Trips I had--which were with LSD--revealed that Earth is paradise. Ie., the natural world is paradise. The reason we don't see, and feel this is down to the dulling, and brutalization process of a civilization steeped in the blood sadism of war, and this blood lust seeps into every aspect of our culture. As a result of that and other structures of social engineering deliberately imposed on us from being little children upwards, we become brutalized and this brutalization manifests in the dehumanization and the dulling of our sensual being. Somehow psychedelic and empathogenic inspiration has a way of dis-spelling this spell, if even only for a few hours, or even shorter as the case maybe with DMT and naturally occuring 'nonordinary' experiences. After that is needed integration, because the 'world' is going to swamp us again. It will tell us 'scientifically' that your psychedelic experience 'distorts' reality, is a 'mere chemical reaction', is 'psychotomimetic' (ie., mimics 'psychosis')--In other words the oppression, the brutalization is STILL going on in the culture, in its institutions, 'education', mass media, and so on when we 'come down', so to be aware of this.

We may very have have seen through facades when Tripping, but to actually be able to also use these insights, which entails critical thinking, and the encouragement of feeling is the exploration ongoing.

My vision is for responsible people in the entheogenic community to take of the deepest responsibility to support others in the community, and thus not depending on authority, and 'professionals' to be the sole people responsible for psychedelic healing.

This will entail a network of sharing ideas about worldviews, and how people think we can resolve what has caused so much distress in the world, and how we can use sacred medicine to resolve this for ourselves and others.

Please tell me what your reponses are?

Welcome to the nexus. I too due to my psychedelic trips feel that the natural world is paradise, and it is our fears that makes us want to leave it for something safer but a lot less beautiful(paradise lost in the biblical sense?). Aah, the sight of pine leaves while tripping! Truly one of the most beautiful sights i have witnessed on this planet.
