What's the size/dimensions of an IDEAL container for freeze precip? ideal material? and ideal quantity of solvent per container? considering an ideal time of 48hs of freezing .

Got good results with "glass medium tupperware with hermetic plastic lids" .. but I'm wondering what containers people do use for good results...

I cant get good results with big quantities of solvent (more than 200ml) and big size (wider than 20cm of surface bottom) containers ..... so I decided for several medium containers (15cm of bottom surface) and 150-200ml instead of bigger containers and quantities of solvent.... is this correct or have any sense? it's true that smaller and taller containers are better than bigger ones?

[sorry for eventual bad english or if miss some related thread but I cant found an answer]

I prefer a smaller dish so I get better 'shard' development rather than powder. My favored crystallizing dishes are 3" wide, and 1" tall. I dissolve the dmt in boiling heptane which is poured directly into the dish and immediately covered with foil. You can find lidded pyrex 'snack' bowels in almost any grocery store.

My pyrex crystallizing dishes cost me 3.75ea, and the snack bowels which hold no less than twice then volume were 3x /$9.00 and have an almost identicle shape + lid.

Cheers mate

I was going to ask a similar question, so I'm glad that I spotted this thread.

I just went down to ASDA (the UK equivalent to Wal-Mart I guess) and found some perfectly sized glass dishes, IIRC they were £2.99 each (5 bucks?) - I got a few to keep the yields coming.

The only issue is the corners, as when I'm scraping the crystals with a razor I can't get into the rounded edges - so I'm also interested in seeing what others do to get around this issue (either a bowl with squared off corners) or a utensil that will allow me to scrape into the edges - I don't usually do much in the way of a defat so using something non-sharp just smudges the DMT into the glass.

Crystallizing dishes have steep corners, even still you gotta get into them, a pipe scraping took fills this need perfectly

Total hax

Replying to my post before I even made it.

I think either I've been having too much DMT recently or you've successfully broken though that membrane, been unplugged from the Matrix and are now toying with my life.

If you're feeling generous, a flying car would be nice.... Or next weeks lottery numbers.

1ce, null24, and others on this topic, thanks for sharing

May I ask you guys how much solvent per container did you use? And about the time did you freeze? The quantity of solvent really matter?
