I accomplished my first extraction with Acacia Confusa(100g), using the A/B tek, i yielded 600mg of pure white crystals..i feel i wasted alot, doing further reasearch i apparantly missed an important defat stage..after combing first pulls and freeze preciping for 12 hrs i was left with a tray full of white and brown goo...did some research..then put naptha back in tray...hot bath, after most the white goo was dissolved i seperated and freeze preciped 12hrs..got a nice pull of white crystals..second and third pulls yielded white goo wich i let dry for several days and scraped out..

Anywho, in my next extraction im gonna either
1~wash base pulls with ph5 water..do three pulls, then add base(ph14) and pull with fresh naptha then evap
or
2~I read you can do a defat with naptha in the first acid wash, then basify and do naptha pulls then evap
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! thanks
