Greetings Fellow Travelers, Swim Currently has Started Experimenting with other herbs, Im curious as to what is the Difference? Since they are both Bark can i extract it the same way?

Can i Use this Tek for Acacia Confusa? Are there any steps i need to add? This Tek was used for MHRB and it had Great results. again Thanks Ahead of time For all the Help :thumb_up:

Tek:

Swim did

50g Mimosa powdered bark

750ml H2O

Some vinegar ( until ph of 3-4 reached ) 

50g Lye

40g ice cream salt (i forgot the actual name)

about 75ml naphta (the numbers on my syringe disappeared)

Acid cook

First Swim took the 750ml water and added vinegar until Ph of 4 was reached, after that i placed on a pot brought to boil, added 50g powdered mimosa, let it simmer for 30 minutes.

Let chill for 15 minutes

Add 50g Lye

40g Ice cream salt

shake often to make sure everything dissolved

Add 75ml naphta

spinned/mixed solutions until no layers visible for one minute then let sit until layers separate, this was done about 10 times.

Next extracted naptha onto separate jar making sure so leave any freebase solution behind.

for Cleaning:

Swim took some water added a pinch of soda wash, then added about 30ml to naptha that was pulled, mixed until no layers visible, let sit for layers to separate. took out soda/h20 with pipette and repeated again 2 more time but just plain water. i did this fast i didn't let t sit for long as soon as they separated sucked out the water, let sit in freezer for 48hr, take solvent out (drain), Crystals will be on the glass dish or cup, Swim then lets it sit in the freezer upside down for 1 hour then take out to slow dry with a fan.
