Does it really matter?

I am aware that the Acacia Confusa can leave behind some NMT.

Say Swim separates the NMT from the DMT to obtain pure DMT.

What are the difference in yields and effects?

Is Mimosa just all hype?

P.S. Swim wants to smoke this not ingest.

I do basic STB extractions on ACRB. I get 1.5-2% yields. after 1.5% is extracted out, i start getting more of a goo NMT consistency. Freeze precip will yield crystal that can be picked out from among the goo puddles. I personally dont freeze precip, i just evap my solvent and scrape. This always yields me a full spectrum jimjam brown wax which is one hell of a smoke. Contains NMT : DMT : and other alks that seem to prolong the DMT experience. NMT i personally feel is a great addition as it seems to soften the journey.

if you wash the jimjam product with water + sodium carbonate, you can yield mostly DMT with some NMT. If you manage to fully separate the NMT from the DMT via co2/dry ice, then to answer your question, does it really matter? no.

I have gotten a more consistent 2.2% mostly DMT extraction from MHRB but i believe ACRB to be superior just in that it offers up more alks such as NMT.

Both MHRB and ACRB are GREAT DMT containing root barks.

Interesting. I see what you are saying. I am interested in the other alkaloids and whatnot, but would like to have some "pure" DMT too.

I thought MHRB was superior on an elitist level of things that it only contained DMT.
(Is my above statement correct, or would I get some NMT with MRHB too?)

I would like to hear others opinions too.

Both will produce similar yields of DMT, with yields typically in the 1-1.5% range. I outlined a process to remove NMT from ACRB extracts, and now get mimosa-style (or better) fluffy crystals. Standard ACRB extracts may yield as high as 3%, though up to half of that may be NMT.

I have bioassayed the mostly-NMT results of this separation and the effects are primarily a stimulating DMT-like body load, increased heartrate, clear thinking, very very slight visuals (similar to cannabis). So, with a standard ACRB extract that may have 0-50% NMT content, you will have to intake more in order get enough DMT to breakthrough, and in the processes get the NMT body rush. Users report ACRB extracts let you 'feel' but not see the experience more. NMT by itself is almost recreational in the same sense as cannabis, it's nice.

Nice so not only can I get clean DMT, I can get clean NMT too! As well as a mix of all 3. I would say in the case of diversity and experimentation, ACRB wins hands down. Thank you for the thread that you created, it had some really wonderful pics and great info. I will be coming back to it in the future for sure!

You say "Mimosa Style or Better" Could you give me a comparison of an awesome Mimosa crystal picture next to a "better" Acacia crystal? What do you mean by better? How could DMT be better than DMT? Do you mean the purity or looks of the crystals?

Well usually when extracting from mimosa there is always going to be some NMT/other contaminants, somewhere in the 1-5% range probably, but not enough to make it goey like acacia can be. By removing the NMT+oxides from the extract, you get a much cleaner result than any crude extraction, since you are pretty much ensuring that the only thing left in your solvent is DMT + N-oxide.

You might want to consider getting some zinc powder so that you can reduce any DMT N-oxide present to regular DMT. I've had acacia extractions where around 50% of the DMT was oxidized, and was only able to pull it with naphtha after doing a zinc-acetic acid reduction. You would just add a small amount of zinc powder to your reduced acid boils and let it sit uncovered for a few hours, mixing every 30 minutes. This will also reduce NMT-oxide to regular NMT. Search on the forums for more info.

Ditto! Very Awesome! Swim wants some fluffy white crystals for novelty, but would love to try NMT alone and combined with the DMT. They say that it should be happening in some imaginary point in time soon.

I only use Acacia and I gave up on Stb only extractions and defats. I do fasa and get 4% as fumarates then Base it with Naphtha. It cuts out some of the insolubles. The more times you go back and forth between base and fumarates the cleaner the product. I only get white every time.
