I thought this was way too easy to work. I got an extraction tek from a website, sounded too easy........
1: 600 ml purified water in a jar.
2: Add 100 grams lye to the jar, shake & let it sit for an hour.
3: Add 100 grams powdered acacia to the jar, Shake shake shake, set aside for an hour.
4: Add Naphtha, and gently swirl and turn the jar, do this every few hours for twenty four hours.
5: Pull naphtha and put it in a small container; into the freezer with you!
6: After 24-48 hours, take the jar out of the freezer, pull the naphtha and add it to your acacia jar; dry crystal.
7: Vape that mother.
The original recipe said to pull the naphtha after an hour, which I did, but I got nothing but white goo from doing that. So I left the jar alone for 24 hours, shaking occasionally, and with my second pull got nice white crystals. Not much, but I'm not done with my pulls yet, and from the look of things I'm going to get a lot of pulls from this.
I was skeptical, too, but it worked. This is my first time working with acacia, so I am pleased. Also, this morning I tried an acacia brew with 15 grams acacia, 11 grams Syrian Rue, which I cooked down with the standard 3 half hour boils. Potent stuff! Terrible tasting, but that's just the price of admission.
