:d  once the herb is burning it should vaporize the DMT without having to hold the lighter. Becareful with jet lighter it could blow everything out of the pipe bowl.

I would say hit it as slow as you can wait for the vapor to fill the water pipe and when the vapor compleatly fills the bong take another breath and hit it slow

then hit it again hold

hit it again you are on your way. make sure you have a place to recline and maybe have a blanket ready as dmt makes me feel cold sometimes and hot on others.
