I don't feel extracting is a realistic option in Australia, and I'm as keen as Drake to experience spice.For one thing, we can't mail order MHRB. So one is left to either go bush to look for suitable Acacia species and plundering their leaves and bark, and even then one would need the botanical knowledge to differentiate between the few good species from the hundreds of other kinds.The other option is to buy it, which brings its own problems: quality, and the soundness of the extraction, not to mention the ethics of the maker.Neither of those options appeal to me, so I'm probably going to take the third option of cultivating my own Acacia plants. The fruits of that harvest are a long way down the track though.
