Hi all, I'm in the process of putting together my own changa blend, I'm going for a middle eastern theme with it and adding a few middle eastern based herbs and extracts, mainly being Blue Lotus/ Blue Egyptian Water Lilly flowers (being that it was used by the ancient egyptians) with mullein for ease of smoking and using Syrian Rue extract as the MAOI (being that syrian rue has a long history of use in the middle east). I was even toying with the idea of adding a bit of shredded rue seed to add a bit more of the syrian rue plant spirit to the blend
I plan on calling it "Magic Carpet Ride" Changa :d I don't know why I wanted to put a middle eastern spirit behind it, I have always had a fascination with the middle east and as a musician, always find myself gravitating to middle eastern scales when I'm composing.
I have a few questions for the changalero's out there. With the rue extract, I am in the middle of the extraction process right now using the Harmala Extraction and Separation Tek from the nexus wiki. I'm not sure if I want to just add the combined harmala's (harmaline/harmine) at the end of the process or just the harmine for a clearer experience? I'm leaning towards combined harmala's to honor the rue spirit more fully but would love advice from the more experienced on here
Also, I was planning on adding an equal harmala:spice ratio (for example 500mg harmala:500mg Orange Acacia Spice) so I don't have to consume as much spice to have a full experience as well extend the duration as much as possible, how does this sound? The idea would be that if I had a changa dose with 25mg of spice, I would also be getting 25mg of harmaloids which from research seems like a decent dosage for good MAOI effect.
The basic ratio would be 1 gram of herb: 500mg of Spice: 500mg of Rue Harmaloid so a basic 100mg changa dose would have 25mg of spice and 25mg of harmaloid for nice space travel.
Any advice would be muchly appreciated!
Peace and happy travelling :d
