aiming above ego loss?

Hi,

People who experience ego loss say its scary and amazing at the same time, but may I please ask can you in fact just totally by pass ego loss so the point of the experience is much more than ego loss?.

Reason I ask:
- Some who have tried extremely high dosages say that even after experiencing ego loss, they need some time to repair, but can you in fact look it from that its going even above ego loss, so that ego does not even matter anymore at all forever.

And or so that well you experience ego loss, but also your going way past even ego it self,and then looking at it or,

If you go so far into just white space that instead of viewing it as a lonely thing even, but as to experience itself

Throughout the history of DMT use, there seems to be a couple of very well-defined and universal levels that we all agree on:

- Sub-breakthrough (usually anything below 20mg): At this level, you still see this world and you completely remember your identity/ego. You see trippy visuals as reality begins to bleed and morph. The effect is basically like taking weaker psychedelics like shrooms or LSD. But it only lasts for 5-15 minutes, due to the quick breakdown of DMT in the physical body. Due to their short duration, sub-breakthroughs are a total waste, except that they are a nice way to get your feet wet and getting used to the reality-bending effects before graduating to a breakthrough dose.

- Breakthrough (usually 30mg if vaporized correctly without accidentally burning anything): Your head explodes and you fly to a different realm, but you usually still remember a bit about your Earth-life, and you are conscious. It's difficult to remember things, but you still feel quite good about "yourself". It's a dreamlike feeling that kinda feels like you're "still faintly linked" to "yourself".

- Breakthrough 2.0 (usually 40-50mg): You've taken so much DMT that you break through and completely forget who you thought you were here on Earth. You don't even remember taking DMT. You think you have died, and you wonder if you will be trapped in that world forever. Time has no meaning to you anymore.

- Breakthrough 3.0 (usually 80+mg): If you take an insanely high amount of DMT, you might experience a world that is mostly flat blackness/loneliness, or you black out completely and don't even remember tripping at all. At best it's a waste of DMT (if you blacked out), and at worst it can be devastating emotionally (dealing with "The Void" and the possibilities of what it might mean, such as the possibility of infinite loneliness forever).

The ranges differ a bit based on technique and the person.

For healing and progress in life, most people should stick to 30mg.

My view is that if I have no memory of the event, it does not help me at all. I am sure I have had mind-blowing dreams that would change every waking second of my reality in a positive, life-altering way, but I don't remember them! I have probably also had dreams that would crush me and make me lie in bed for the rest of my life.

Many are quick to eliminate the ego, sometimes for egotistical reasons (e.g., "I broke on through to the other side and no one else in my family/class/friend group/town has! I'm special and enlightened!" ). As much as we strive for balance and understanding, we still have to wake up the next day and go to work, school, or sitting around... Or whatever it is that you do.

The ego may try to protect us from Earth shattering realizations so we can even exist on this physical plane. If you don't remember something, it's possibly because it's in the category of "could possibly destroy or alter your life".

I view "ego loss" in a different light; honestly I do not want to lose control nor do I want to forget my experience. I like to get my doses to the perfect level where I forget about who I am (or really "was" before the experience) and what I will become. I enjoy having my time, location, and identity disappear sometimes, but I don't want to lose total control and hurt someone, whatever. But there's that perfect state of the concept of "you" not existing, as Mr. Leary called "the clear light."

For "aiming past ego loss," I think you need to determine for yourself where you are comfortable going. Do you want to exit our normal, shared reality totally? Or dip your toes in the experience and never go deeper? It's your choice, but a little exploring is always necessary to know your options. Good luck

Nail on the head. Daredevils might want to try higher doses at least once in their life just to experience it, but it's generally better to remember what happened. :d

Some people seem to think that higher doses makes them cooler. There's nothing cool about it. They forget that this is about their lives and their journeys, not about what other people think. We should all should aim for healing doses, instead of doing some stupid "Look, mom, I can ride my bicycle with no hands!" maneuvers.
