I moved to the Amazon jungle years ago following an urge to drink ayahuasca with the natives and never left. I happen to have a lot of chemistry knowledge, trained in university to be a chemist but drank iboga then my life took a whole different direction and here I am.

The Amazon rainforest is amazing, but I would be afraid of malaria mosquitoes and parasites there. Maybe this fear is exaggerated, but malaria mosquitoes and various biting flies stop me from living there. The nature is particularly harsh. How are you doing over there?

welcome SantoMescalito
i can definitely see the appeal to stay in the jungle! the jungle might be harsh, but urban life is more harsh in other ways! assuming you came from an urban environment that is.

You moved to the Amazon jungle for ayahuasca. I get that. Good reason to go.

But can you give some more insights about what taking iboga has done to you? Where did this take place?

I did it in the Netherlands. It triggered a massive spiritual awakening, I had to focus on healing and transformation. Things got overwhelming, I eventually drank Ayahuasca and had a traumatic experience so went to South America, and ended up in an indigenous community doing plant dietas and drinking Ayahuasca with a family there, I lived with them for 2 years.

That's awesome, bro. There's something about the forest that no one can ever teach you; the sounds, smells, plants, mountains and animals have so much more to offer than a pile of buildings and trendy shops and people ever will.

It's good to make your aquaintance....

Welcome. Please write some more about your experience in the jungle. It has been my dream for years to move to South America and work with traditional healers.
