Allylescaline

Well it would help others to try and find information on this substance if SWIY supplied a little info first :roll: :p

Guessing by the "escaline" part SWIM assumes it has to do with mescaline it would seem...hmmm....

Sounds very similar to the mescaline "love" SWIM knows.... and the dosage seems more reasonable than mescaline too.

QUALITATIVE COMMENTS: (with 24 mg) I first became aware of something in about 10 minutes, a pleasant increase in energy. By 20 minutes it was getting pronounced and was a nice, smooth development. (with 24 mg) The onset was extremely gradual and graceful, with the first alert that one could really sense at about 50 minutes. This was succeeded by a slow gentle climb to the peak at one hour and fifteen minutes. The experience itself left all of the sensory modalities functional; speech was cogent and rather fluid. In fact, there was an unusual ease of free association. All throughout the session, the talk was high in spirits and somehow indicative of an inner excitement. Affect was entirely pleasant, but not exalting nor conducive to insight or to problem solving. There were no requirements for withdrawal into the self. The material seemed wholly social in nature. No visual, auditory or olfactory sharpening was in evidence. The plateau for this material seemed unusually long. I was unable to sleep for several hours, and took 25 mg Librium before sleep arrived. The next day was a lethargic and slow one, with the inner feeling that the effects had not worn off until the middle of the day following ingestion.

(with 35 mg) I was a distinct +1 in 35 minutes and a +2 by the end of the hour. My head congestion in no way cleared up, absolving the material from having that particular virtue. The entire experience was somewhat dissociated--I could not connect with my feelings. Although my mind remained clear, there was a hangover feeling at the end of the experiment.

EXTENSIONS AND COMMENTARY: This compound was first explored in Prague by Leminger. He provided only the synthetic details and the statement that it was the most active compound that he had studied, with activity at 20 milligrams, with perceptual changes, color enhancement, and difficult dreams during sleep that night. Some effects persisted for more than 12 hours. Dosages above 35 milligrams remain unexplored.

As AL is one of the most potent 3,4,5-trisubstituted phenethylamines yet described, and since the corresponding amphetamines are of yet greater potency, it would be a good guess that 4-allyloxy-3,5-dimethoxyamphetamine (3C-AL) would be an interesting compound to explore. It could be made from syringaldehyde in reaction with allyl iodide, followed by the formation of a nitrostyrene with nitroethane, followed by reduction with aluminum hydride. It is, as of the present time, both unsynthesized and unexplored.

I had my first trial with this chem today. After an allergy test (2mg) a few days before today seemed like a good time to give it a go.

20mg was consumed dissolved in tap water (readily soluble), and i decided to go for a bike ride to test this one out. Rode 11mi to an alpine lake near where i live, and I'd say the allylescaline kicked in right about when i arrived at my destination, or 1h30m after ingestion. The ride back i was coming up to the peak, and when i stopped to vaporize a small amount of cannabis about 30min later it seemed to be fully peaking. Felt very comfortable at this level, and the lack of distracting visuals was probably beneficial here since i was riding.

Effects were not as visual as mescaline at this dose, body load was negligible, as was nausea. I'd say its mescaline territory, but it overlaps (at least in a visual sense) with the 2c-x family. Visuals were more along the lines of brightened colors, and lacked the geometric structure that mescaline has.

It did seem more like mescaline than anything else I've tried in terms of synthetic psychedelic phen's though (2c- e,d,i,c, t-2; 2c-d,c,i NBOMEs). Stimulation was about on par with mescaline, euphoria seemed slightly less than mescaline, and the positive body affects/feelings seemed slightly diminished.

Overall it was interesting, and strikingly different than the 2,4,5 phen's I've tried in a good way. It seemed to lack the negative body affects they exerted, and reminded me of mescaline, but not exactly. Higher doses will be tried in good time to see if it has potential to get more interesting, without the side affects i get from dosing 2c-x's to get me to that level of intoxication.

To summarize, it felt like a weaker mescaline experience, with visuals not too unlike the 2c-x series, but very little negative affects like the 2c-x's have imho. I guess that might change as i do more trials with higher doses though.

Effects began to taper down at 6 hrs after ingestion, I'd say a 4 hour peak, similar duration to med/low doses of mescaline ime. Perhaps at a higher dose it might last a bit longer.

*** As always, its a RC, untested waters, so don't take my word for it. This is a subjective opinion on the chemical, and it should be approached with caution and respect for the potential danger it could have. Be safe and smart with rc's, we don't have 1000's of years of human trials, and recent pharmacological trials in man/lab animals, to prove their safety. You are the lab animals in this case, so please be careful & safe with your body if you decide to taste rc's. ***
 
also have tried allylescaline with no nausea it was beautiful almost identical trip to mescaline very satisfying and forgiving its a very warm chemical to it gives you the warmth like you just took a shot of hard vodka in the wintertime :)
