Alternative to fumaric acid when wanting dmt in salt form?

I'm about to make my second extraction, where I will be salting my xylene before freebasing and I wish to keep about 1g of dmt in salt form, for experimenting with snorting dmt. And I have read that dmt HCl is no good, since its hygroscopic.
As far as I can see, fumaric acid is not sold where I live. Would salting with vinegar be ok? Would it make a stable salt form, good for snorting?

When working with dmt-citrate one has to take into account that it is hygroscopic and it looks like thick honey.

According to chocbeastie dmt tartrate can be smoked without any harsh effects.
