Amazing trip! (3 grams of amazonian gold caps)

Migrated topic.
Last night, a friend of mine from a club told me he was trying to get rid of some shrooms, and he had 42 grams of these amazonian gold caps. Another friend who I was visiting (at his dorm) had never tripped before but always wanted to try, especially shrooms, so we set out and bought 5 grams (2 for him, 3 for me). We were both excited because it was going to be his first trip, and I'd never taken more than 2 grams at once before. We ate them at about 8:10 and walked from my car in the visitor's parking lot back to his dorm room, and at about 8:30 they really started kicking in. The last thing I can clearly remember is my friend saying he was starting to see waves, and then I started seeing them, too. Having lost all concept of time, we spent the next couple of hours in his room, thinking back on our lives and how everything just seemed like fond memories but not attached to us. ( "Those were past lives, this is the only life I know right now." ) Occasionally my friend would look around the room, then look at me sitting on the floor, and say "Why are you here? You're the only thing in this room that's not normally here.", to which I always replied "I'm your spirit guide, man. I'm here to guide you." Eventually he asked "How the hell did you get here!?" and I started laughing, and then very bluntly said "I drove here, dude. That's what spirit guides do." I think I was really enjoying this trip even more because my friend was there, and we've been great friends for many years, and it was great to see him tripping for the first time, and despite the sound of concern in his voice, we were both having a great time. Every now and then (which I'm sure was like every couple seconds) I would space out and everything around me would start melting, then I would close my eyes and be lost in complex geometric patterns that went with the music we were listening to. When I snapped out of it, I would always think "Oh, the visuals are gone, I guess I'm sober now." only to look at my arm and see my arm hair moving around and the colors of my skin moving in waves, and then look over at my laptop screen and see all the images and words melting and vibrating, and I would realize that I was still tripping very hard. Eventually we decided that we'd already spent eternity thus far in his room, so we should get out and do something else. It definitely helped that the techno he had playing made it feel like our lives were a movie and getting out of the room was what we'd been waiting for our entire lives. Finally we made it to a club when our visuals had diminished to waves but our body highs were still going strong, and in the end we made it home around 6 AM and had a great sleep. Overall, a wonderful experience.
