An Interesting Observation...

Hello All!

I had to take some time off DMT and mushrooms, take what I had learned from my meditations and apply it to the my life.

After a bit of time off, I decided to do one gram of mushrooms. Ended up having a bad trip (I know, I needed to do more). While tripping, I knew that I should at least try to get it out of my system by exercising.

Well, my exercise involved wearing a VR Headset and playing BeatSaber.

Normally when playing, I would see the notes coming at me REALLY fast and have to have fast reaction times to hit the notes (if you don't know what I'm talking about, you should check it out on YouTube).

While on mushrooms, the notes appeared to be coming at me quite a bit slower. I felt like I was Neo from the Matrix. Could easily hit the notes without thinking much about it. I also broke several records with my scores.

I also had a bit of DMT today, and noticed the very same thing. Just moving effortlessly in hitting these notes.

It's like my brain is able to interpret this a lot faster, or it doesn't overreact? I'm not sure...but I'm more curious about this and what could be happening in the brain to do this.

What I'd like to do is develop this sort of thing naturally without substances and being under the influence.

If anyone can provide any help or guidance, that would be much appreciated!

I think psychedelics help get into a flow state where things just make sense and seem to go smoothly. My friend was tripping on two tabs and was able to consistently beat our asses in smash. Lots of unknown in the area of psychedelics.

There is a concept in Taoism that I think will peak your interest. Its called Wu Wei meaning effortless action. Basically you have to orientate yourself in the flow of life so that action you take are natural and without effort.

Wu Wei...

On shrooms I can hear notes much better, playing guitar becomes amazing. Also long distance jogging, weights, swimming!

Its physical and mental. Mentally freer you can visualize music and channel it, physically mushrooms pump up all the muscles and increases strenght and endurance.

I think its about the right type of focus. Also I am pretty sure psychedelics, particularly dmt, bring out the hidden potential of the brain.
