Hi there Nexus...
I have long been fascinated by the Psychedelic State, especially with regards to naturally occurring ethonogens. My first interests stemmed from my love of classic psychedelic rock, as I was honestly curious to learn and experience the various inspirations my favorite groups pulled from. I started out I daresay like most of us with a bit of grass here and there and while I enjoyed it, it wasn't the Full Experience I was looking for. My love of reading and interest in psychedelics inevitably lead me to Huxley's Doors of Perception, which of course gave me a great desire to experience mescaline. At the time however, the various techs and methods were far beyond my reach and I filed them away to try later. As a sort of practice run I did perform an alcohol extraction on some HBWR seeds which was quite successful and from them on, I was completely fascinated by these everyday plants containing the keys to that Other Place.
Years later, and here I am. With age comes maturity, and I approach this sort of thing now with a 50/50 mix of curiosity and scientific interest. I'm still genuinely interested in experiencing these fascinating molecules, but I also glean real enjoyment from the preparation and backstory. Over the years, I grew a varied garden of cacti, focusing on the spiritual species. This was very fulfilling, as I did it purely to propagate the molecules that so many have found enlightenment in... I had no real or set plans to actually harvest them. Time passed, and I discovered a certain limo technique ( :d ). I was immediately interested, and read the entire thread + anything else I could get on the subject. The idea that someone could isolate the active magic using basic supplies fit right in to my general interests... Revelations available to those who commit the time...
... imagine my dissapointment when after the most careful preparation, detailed documentation of weight & other statistics regarding multiple species, I was left with what should have been pure Revelation that turned out to be as valuable as a spoonful of flour.
So here I am, after lurking about and gleaning knowledge I've finally registered an account to ask some questions and share what I have learned. I've certainly learned a lot from the internet, but perhaps it's time to share a bit to open that final Door.
