Aniracetam & Noopept side by side

So I've been acquainted with Aniracetam for some time now. I always saw it as a perfect nootropic. That was an ignorant view because I had never tried any others. So I finally decided to try out noopept.

First day I took a rounded little spoon(spoon provided with the sample). A half hour to an hour later I instantly realized my vision sharpened. The sharpening isn't so much that I could see more clearly it was that I was more capable of processing visual information.

Tried it out on some school days and some off days now for a week or so. Have to say it's a very potent nootropic. Here's a list of things I have witnessed using it.

- Increase in short term memory in a notable way.
- Positive mood
- Slightly more anxiety prone
- Easier communication with others
- Increase in visual information processing
- Ability to think linearly/rationally increased
- long half-life(6-8hours?)!

Although, it does lack in some areas where Aniracetam previals.

For example I find Aniracetam to be more 'creative'. More easily locate abstract thoughts and concepts. Visualization of concepts is better in my experiences. Aniracetam is slightly sedating and is an anxiolytic. The caveat to aniractam is it only has the go juice for about 3-4 hours.

So I know this comparison is ridiculous, though it is how I feel. I feel as though noopept is the LSD of racetams, while aniracetam is more like the mushrooms of racetams. Both are very excellent tools! Though there are some slight differences in effect.

All together I enjoy them both and will likely use them both during different times. It will be interesting to try both at the same time and see if there is any synergy.

I really appreciate your observations, because I just got a small amount of aniracetam to try and I have no other compounds available (or experience) to compare it with.

Actually your particular description of the effects of aniracetam seems to fit quite nicely what I would ask it to do, so thanks for the feedback.

A peak of work is approaching, and I intend to use aniracetam and Alpha GPC daily for a while. And perhaps I'll start a round of attempts at lucid dreaming with other supplements as well, to take advantage of the choline boost.

Thanks for this post InMotion.

I've heard so much about noopept, but have heard ONLY of noopept with no comparison with the other racetams. I had to take it all with a grain of salt, considering the number of nootropics out there today.

I've recently become acquainted with aniracetam as well, the most notable effect for me is the enhanced memory recall.

I'm becoming interested in stacking aniracetam with other supplements.. choline, etc, and perhaps maybe a noopept microdose stacked with aniracetam might be a good idea

Aniracetam + Noopept is my favourite combo. It makes it very easy to enter Wu Wei (Non-Doing) and jacks up creativity to the next level via AMPA/Glutamate modulation. Throw in a little Sarcosine and baby, you got a stew going

I found noopept is decent by itself, but combined with piracetam it's just nuts. I really enjoy that combo. A good question though, has anyone smoalked on noopept ? or better yet noopept+racetam combo. For me, piracetam makes the experience much more intense/realistic(I only tried it once though), I shudder to think what would happen if I stack noopept on top... :?:

I think you can't compare the two. Noopept had me anxiety ridden with mad, mad maniac thoughts while aniracetam does kinda the opposite if you're taking a low dose.
