Another Extraction Fail? Please Help asap.

So I finished a third extraction with what I assume is yet another fuck up.

I always end up getting right amounts of product that seems to smell and burn like dmt.

but FOR THE THIRD TIME, it is unsmokable! The crystals are white, I did the extraction on point other then the fan before freeze precip.

EVERYONE who's tried to smoke it has said that it burns there throat leaving what feels like a plasticky vapor in the back of there throat for a few minutes. YET THE DMT IS NOT ACTIVE? Nobody is even feeling the slightest effects.

I used Cybs Max Ion, any idea why the spice is burning or leaving a residue unbearable when trying to smoke? I don't wanna throw this batch to if I can fix it or find what's going wrong before I attempt this once again..

How are you measuring your doses and how are you smoking them?

Did you use any plastic materials?

What type of dish did you use to freeze precip?

A sodium carbonate wash might help if there is solvent trapped in the crystals, which could cause the harsh smoke.

But that doesn't explain the lack of effects. Are you sure everyone is smoking it correctly? As in, vaping the DMT properly instead of burning it?

How are they smoking it?

To be honest, if you want our help, you're gonna have to list out all of your materials and everything you did as exactly as you can remember it. It can be as simple as one step out of order...

Sounds like everyone is burning it. Try a more efficient vaporizing method.

The ONLY plastic I use is a syringe, but its the same one I used in my first and only effective extraction.

I use Pyrex to evap, I follow the extraction PERFECTLY, the only step out of order is then fanning before I evap it! But I place it in the freezer right away!

The people that tried to smoke it tried in a Plastic bottle with foil (which was reasonable to be plasticky) another tried straight through a small chillum (the one I used my first trip) yet didn't even blow out a cloud of ANYTHING, didn't burn just tasted nasty but no effects, And the last try was through a free base pipe which gave the throat burn and nasty taste as well!

Yea man those smoking methods are highly suspect.

I'm not convinced it's being properly vaporized.

I'm not sure if there gaping 100% either, my first trip I did it perfectly fine no problems, I'd try smoking it but I'm just not ready for another blast off at the moment :\

so you followed tek to steps before that got to good D, and now, you are having...

take a peace of foil and do try getting some to smoke as incense. no need to puff the smoke if not need to, but you can get smoke to smell of, see of and then, come to your own conclusions.

Improper smoking technique from my guess, its supposed to leave a faint plastic taste like film anyways but nothing too dramatic, and burnt dmt sucks! its too harsh, and btw im not there its all speculation. if it feels like your smoking staright nasty stuff that dont taste how it smells or anything to belive its contaminated, STOP, think and make sure your sure. Its supposed to be smooth with a mild taste of what would be "like palstic film" nothing extreame to make you think its poison. But a potent chemical taste would be a thumbs down :thumb_dow do you have pictures of what the product looks like? and how are you smoking it?

I'm incline to agree that it's your vaping technique, which is why i suggested DMT-enhanced leaf.

I have had this happen to me in the past - even using a GVG. I put spice in the bowl, then light up and not much smoke came thru. Got NO effect whatsoever. The problem was I was holding the arcflame WAY too close to the ceramic dish (to the point it was glowing red) and therefore just toasting the spice...

Also, if you are unsure or paranoid that any impurities or plastics have made it into your final product, do at least 1 re-x with hot naptha (40ml per 1g of spice), and freeze precip again.

Yea, that still sounds to me like improper vaporizing technique. I would strongly suggest that you give enhanced leaf or The Machine a try. Both of these methods are extremely easy to master, reliably allowing proper vaporization with little trouble or practice.

There are many threads in which proper vaporization is discussed in detail, so you might also want to use the search function and give those a read.

I hope you didn't throw away the product of your last extractions... If I am right in thinking that the smoking technique is the problem, then you may well have thrown away perfectly good spice. It is advised that one does not throw anything away until they are absolutely certain it is useless.

Yup never throw away any "failed" extractions. There's always spice somewhere in there it's just a matter of getting it out.

Almost 100% sure it’s the vaping. Shouldn't be harsh if vaped right. Whatever you do, no plastic bottle foil. You might be able to use the chillum if you take steel wool, heat the wool up, melt the spice into the steel wool, and use THAT in the chillum.

If that doesn’t work just make the machine or get a GVG or VG, but the steel wool thing still applies.

What plant did you extract from? If it was acacia confusa it could be that your crystals are primarily nmt and inactive. Nmt is not always a goo. Under correct conditions it can crystallize, and co-crystallize with dmt, and it can be pure white.

I've used plastic bottles , yogurt containers and so forth before I brought my glass ware and I've never Experianced any prob what so ever and I'm talking 15-20 ext + with plastic aslong as it's not stored for long periods with chemicals I don't see a problem !!

Furthermore, it sounds like your starting material is not actually a DMT containing plant and you're smoking something completely different.
