I often hear quite vivid and strange music on psychedelics as well, which is often rather unlike music I choose to listen to, particularly on LSD. Recently had a brain-cello playing what sounded like a classically-influenced melody, and I really don't listen to classical music (I did play it on the piano when I was younger). I remember during my first acid trip telling my friend, "I can hear a symphony in my head!"

If it's not music, though, it's noise - one that frequently occurs is an oscillating drone, as if a parade of humming people passes by every so often. I don't get much of any of that on DMT, though.

When you speak of DMT experiences in your post, are you referring to smoked or oral?
