Anyone had strange experiences with NMT?

Okay, so when I`ve done recrystalisations on my confusa extract, the recrystalisation is predomonantly DMT, whilst leaving the NMT + other gunk in the original tray.
When vaporising the NMT, I have had some very strange effects, although everything else could be considered minor.
I was just wondering if others have had similar effects to the following, since it`s happened twice now....
I would look at my table and chairs, and the chairs would shuffle position and size with one another, as would the table every few seconds (mostly the height and shape).
I then look at the air-conditioning vents, and they shuffle positions with one another (the 4 angled vents).
One time the curtains were also opening and closing every fraction of a second.
It's very strange...

i hate tablets, i just deleted my whole post...

it's great stuff, my favorite. it's about a third as potent as dmt, depending on how much dmt is left in it. be sure to be calm, breathe and enjoy yourself, it can be easy to miss noticing the effects.

this is the stuff i give my friends to heal from their chronic pains and psychedelic wounds. it is very, very lovely stuff when you nail the dosage. it can be smoked or vaped to great effect. smoking is a good route if you're opposed to the odd spirit contact, but vapor can bring about lovely, gentle transformation.

I get weird effects from it as well, it produces subtle but at times very profound visuals and distortion of time and space for me. I had a lamp leave a night stand, fly to the middle of the room then shoot back. With very minimal movement of other objects. Funky stuff

Once while under the influence of psilocybin (shrooms), I was looking at a picture of a woman and as I looked at it the perspective would suddenly shift and then shift back a few seconds later. Like looking at her from a different angle. This persisted for the full duration of the trip every time I would take a look at that particular picture.

A few days later (no longer under the influence of any drugs), I found that picture again and was staring at it trying to understand the perspective I saw before. Sure enough, it managed it flip back and forth a couple of times right then! But after that I never saw it flip again. Must have been sort of a conditioned response that wore off.

TBH, there's nothing you have said that hasn't appeared to me under the influence of regular DMT. I've had many experiences where I sincerely felt under the influences of separate substances from the same batch.

Although with that in mind, I find NMT to be much more sedate and less erratic and any changes in visual perception seem to happen much slowly even at double the noticeably active dose.

Then again, I only ever took NMT orally with rue sooo....

Interesting none the less.

glad to see others into nmt. me and a few of my friends enjoy it a lot. i have had spiritual experiences with it which lead me to think it has great unknownn importance in human biology. i can only talk about vaping it. vaping with a maoi would be interesting too, i have not done so.

in my later extraction pulls, i had a dish of naptha i let evaporate at room temp, found it after several weeks, long diamond like see through dark orangish crystals. i vaped an unknown amount, a dose seem to be not comparable in strength with dmt, but combine it with a little dmt and it takes you into this weird emerald rainbow reality -i enjoy the rainbow spice mix, as i call it.

I have been using nmt by its self a lot recently. i have had batches that where completely separated from dmt. it's subtle on small dose, and even so not overpowering on medium doses if you have other things going on like tv or music, so the way you smoke nmt is with the lights off and eyes closed, it's something you meditate with. it last for about 15 20 minutes, and i get intense warm sensations all over my bodies nervous system. my nervous system maybe go into overdrive, it don't feel dangerous, but i can easily voluntarily twitch, it feels good. first time i loaded a rather large amount into my oilburner pipe, i dosed then closed my eyes on my couch and got lost in my mind to spinning layers of geometric circles.

on a usual regular dose, it's super spatial, you take a dose and it feels like time is pushing in, and being rearranged. i have yet to find the perfect ratio to dmt, but it does change the smoked dmt trip, by weight it's a weaker than a dmt trip so you need more, but it last a bit long also.

..yeah great to see some NMT discussion..
in the talk i gave on it at EGA conference 2011, i described it as a primarily 'spatial halluncinogen'..
it may not be 100% NMT, so other traces could contribute to some of the described effects..
it has a synergy with DMT that some people describe as more 'mushroom like'..

nen.. would your talk happen to have audio online? i browsed your thread and seen a hinted mention of nmt being used in the same sentence as cancer cells.. wish i could find more info specifically on that. is it dmt related alkaloids as a whole which can inhibit cancer cell growth? who knows.. mushrooms like cordycep are known for their anti cancerous properties.

why are 'WE', as in nexians the only ones interested in this info? it seems so important, yet there is literally only dmt nexus and a short tikhal entry about nmt. i would also agree the dmt/nmt combo has a very mushroom like effect, i grow my own shrooms.. and became quite intrigued by the familiar presence. to narrow it down, i think the effect is most comparable to liberty cap mushrooms.

hopefully within a few months..it was NMT specifically which inhibited cancer cell growth (ref in the talk summary in link above)
..NMT is a very new area of research (being ignored for 20 years because of one or two un-checked claims that it was 'inactive') ..i guess the Nexus is at the cutting edge of such things..so bask in the novelty of being in the first wave..

I believe there will be a small group of folks doing some work with NMT in combination with DPT in the coming weeks.
The lab that was commissioned to synth DPT ended up producing a combination of the two and is having trouble separating them. I think we'd all prefer to have our intended product in its pure state, but barring that something tells me this combination will prove to be very, very interesting.

I'm glad to be back here. You folks at the Nexus are a rare breed. I've been lost down the rabbit-hole of RC's for the past few months and shelved my interest in spice extraction.
Hopefully as I wane from that world I can spend more time here.

This "shift" happens when you smoke DMT extracted with mhrb too. Haven't tried NMT yet from Acacia. I smoked rek mhrb DMT on the roof of a parking garage in my car in Chicago. The Sears Tower was shifting all over the place, and magnifying in size as if it were moving towards me. That was the best trip I ever had. The CEVs were even better.

^..Mimosa hostilis only has very small (trace) amounts of NMT..
whereas Acacia confusa (and sometimes A. obtusifolia) can be 50% NMT..

Ive had things up and dissapear right in front of me while on DMT. Like my lighter that mysteriously got far back under my bed after I precisely remember setting it down to my side as I laid down during the trip. And it was like the DMT people were in control of being able to make things vanish and they were humorous about it.

lol, the same thing happened to me after about 4 days of sleep deprivation. Among other, more subtle things such as transparent smoke and the outlines of things moving in some strange way I've never seen before. The bulk of the effects were more delirious in nature, however.

Noob question here:

How would one go about extracting pure NMT from Acacia?
Getting out the spice is probably a priority for most, but then is there a way to run a second extraction for the NMT, keeping the compound clean separate from a mash of jungle alkaloids?

As for what I said in my previous post: the supplier appears to be quite content with successfully producing pure DPT and ignored my backup offer to purchase the DPT/NMT mix on the cheap. To be honest I had started to look forward to the possibilities.

Something like this happened to a member here at Nexus! Only his pipe he was using while sitting at the table during a trip in hyperspace, he awoke out and the pipe was gone. He could not find the pipe! Looked everywhere! We said it was in hyperspace and all the nexians would help him "find that pipe"!! Sadly it never got found.... YET!
