Baby Steps. My First DMT Experience.

For the last week or so I've been carrying out my first extraction, an A/B which is still being carried out. A full report and pictorial will be posted upon completion. However, I did harvest some crystals from my first three pulls, and through which; I had my first DMT experience.

I purchased a classic VG a couple of days ago in preperation of the results of my extraction, I also purchased some mullein, and a torch lighter.

The midnight hour approached, and the time was upon me, the time I've been building up to. Earlier on I had loaded my Vaporgenie with 50mg of spice; onto a bed of mullein. I entered my bedroom, turned on my bedside lamp, and switched off the main light. I sat on the bed nervously, in the grips of pre flight anxiety. The duvet was bunched up behind me, so I was sat up, with a big comfortable back rest.

I lit the torch, raised it above the flame filter, and started to take a hit. At the time I genuinely thought I was taking a long, deep toke. As it turns out, for whatever reason, I must have been subconsciously holding back, but I held the small toke in, thinking it was a bigger hit than it actually was.

I blew the first toke out after about ten seconds or so, then took a second hit. Much like the first, I thought I was taking a long deep toke. This too was not a huge toke, but at that point I firmly believed it was. I held the vapour for about ten seconds or so, then blew out. I placed both VG and lighter next to me on the bed.

As I melted into the trip I felt like a spaceship was booting up. This was due to a noise which was very much like, a spaceship booting up, coupled with the fact I had entered into a trip. I looked at my feet in front of me, and I took a snapshot of my now very trippy feet, and as I looked around the room, I could still see my feet; burnt into my field of vision like a trippy photograph.

The snapshot disappeared, and I was looking round my room. The trip was a different kind of trip to what I was used to, but at the same time it wasn't. I was engulfed in a noise sort of like weird alien machinery, but also sort of like tensing a guitar string, but also kind of like weird alien speech.

I picked up my vaporgenie and lit the torch. I took a deep toke, but somehow I coughed it out. I lit the torch again, and took a steady little hit till there was no more to vape.

As I looked around my room, swirling and melting; with my alien machine background noise processing and calculating, I got the sense that I was not supposed to go any further than this just now. This was just my first baby step into the world of spice, and I'm fine with that.

To say the trip felt like a mushroom trip, or acid trip would be wrong. It was a trip nonetheless, but it had it's own feel. Also, it wasn't just a trip. It was my first baby step into something incredible. Something that I know is extremely intense, but of course, I don't know at all.

I am going to completely finish my extraction until I work with spice again. This was my first experience, and as such, I got what was meant for me. Not a crazy little different feeling trip, but my first baby step. Easing me into something alot more powerful and intense than I could ever possibly imagine at this moment.

Peace,

Macre.

Ha ha :) thanks guys. I know how I need to change my technique for future launch attempts. More importantly, I need to learn to let go, and curb whatever was holding me back. They won't let anything happen that I'm not ready for. No matter what happens, I'm coming back from it, so I've just got to let go.

Peace,

Macre.

I hate that feeling, can't bear it. I normally smoke ether blue lotus leaf or Sceletium Tortuosum before travels if I get a slight feeling of apprehension.

Warning: Do not take Sceletium Tortuosum when taking MAOI's.

congratz on taking the first step!! no matter how big of a step it is the first definitly breaks down a wall. my first tiny babystep i noticed a vibration that fully encompassed all my senses as it grew louder and louder. it was a very small amount yet after over 100 sessions it has never occured again. definitly felt like something was "booting up". as for confidence in taking a good dose i recomend taking a small hit and waiting ten minutes before your full dose. it seems to ease the nerves and prepare you for blast off. im glad your first experience was pleasant and cant wait to hear about the next one!!

Congrats. I have two questions/suggestions for you:

Q.) How many screens do you have in the VG? S.) I would recommend about 8. Even with that many I like to use enough of a bed of leaf to cover the screen completely.

Q.) What kind of lighter are you using? S.) Get a jet - makes a big difference with the VG.

Thank you State of the Mind and hyperspacing for your advice. Both sound like good plans to ease tension before launch.

Hey Art. I currently have six screens in my VG, maybe I could throw a couple more in, for the sake of finding my ideal. I layed my leaf bed to completely cover the screen, then laid my spice on the bed, then put another thin layer of mullein over the spice. I am unsure whether this top layer made any difference, maybe I could try without it.

I am using a lighter called turboflame arc. It's a jet lighter with a nice curve in it, it's an extremely proficient lighter.

Thank you to everyone for your suggestions and questions, your support is greatly appreciated as I embark on a new journey in my life. I think the main reason I didn't get the size hit I thought I did, was because I wasn't inhaling deeply enough. It's something I know better now. I guess it was down to nerves, because I'm not unfamiliar with hitting a pipe or bong, even though it's been a few years.

Peace,

Macre.

Sounds like you're definitely on the right track. No need for a top layer of herb. It's pretty difficult to burn your spice in a vaporgenie.

Unfortunately, nerves just come with the territory. Breaking through requires will and commitment.

Thanks Art, I appreciate it. I guess blasting off into an alternate reality is never gonna be something to take lightly. Next launch, I'm just gonna have to relax, and let myself go.

Peace,

Macre.

As long as I go in prepared, expecting the unexpectable, the part before I flick my lighter on is usually the hardest.

Nicely put soulfood my friend. I guess (to give it a totally inadequate simile) it's like the most insane bungee jump or sky dive.

Peace,

Macre.

Great first steps, dude. I did the same as you, but i used a mini glass bong for my first tries. It is good to get a slight feel for it in the beginning. If i got thrown into the deep end on my first attempts, it might have scared me off.

Take care :)

Thanks man. I need to remember that whatever happens to me is meant for me. I've been called for a reason, and I will return safely. What an interesting turn my life has taken, I hope all goes well.

Peace,

Macre.
