Breakthrough was definatly not what I expected!

Finally had my DMT breakthrough, smoked about 70mg in homemade version of "The machine" (might I say this made smoking so very easy)
The trip it's self was very strange and now I'm left with Many questions on what entities are and represent
The first entity I encountered was like an Egyptian god surrounded by a golden city, so many golden colours surrounded however this was amazing before it began to transform to to an enormous demon with hundreds of eyes and snakes coming out of its mouth, it felt like it was towering over me as I lay down, although it was horrific looking I didn't frighten me
The next entity I encountered after I took another hit was a native Indian chief and what looked like his daughter this had an earthly feel to it.
Everything faded after that and I was left thinking WTF
However DMT has definatly made me think of things differently and is definatly IME te most powerful psychedalic

Hey Josh-v. Breakthroughs are rarely what we expect. I think that's why there's such an urgency upon those who haven't experienced it yet to reach that plateau - because many realize that though DMT can show them some beautiful things at sub-breakthrough, that they're still very much clueless firsthand as to a taste of DMT's true power. In terms of the Egyptian god, you think you'd be able to look him up if you did a google search for Egyptian gods or something like that? Or was it a bit more abstract with an Egyptian flavor? Either way, I would run the search. You could surprise yourself.

Egyptian gods or something like that? Or was it a bit more abstract with an Egyptian flavor?

It reminded me of an egyptian god however he or she stood amongst a golden metallic like city, which to me looked very advanced almost alien, much more advanced then anything in history
Got me thinking if this may be where the gods dwell

The most common colors for me in my Egyptian themed experiences are gold, turquoise and sandy gold. The turquoise is always so soothing to behold.

May I ask when was this another hit?You took first hit and then saw this Egyptian demon/god and right after that you took another hit somehow and saw other things?

I took the other hit about 10-15 mins after the initial, i know they say the tolerance kicks in straight away and you can no longer breakthrough but that didnt happen for some reason (which was good)

I have only experienced "tolerance" a couple times. But im pretty sure it wasnt that at all. I have dosed right after, and dosed others like this too, and experienced zero tolerance buildup.

Exactly i didnt feel tolerance at all which was great!
i read something a while ago about spacing out the hits for DMT instead of forcing 3 at a time and it said you still breakthrough.

I do experience a so called ceiling if the hits arent taken in rapid succession. Although i go for the single hit now when i choose to go in.

It also depends i think, on how easy you breakthrough. A lot of times all it takes is 15-20mg for me now.

I did a lot of experimentation with short term tolerance with different windows of time in between and such, and what I got was a mixed bag. Sometimes the second trip in quick succession could be way better than the first, and other times it invited the most haunting side of hyperspace to minimal results. There was only one time I can recall where I allowed the experience to start for 20 seconds or so, and it was looking to be a pretty solid experience and for experimenting sake, I decided to open my eyes and take another hit. It completely broadened the space and I fell into a basket of warm love. I didn't really get much further than that, but it definitely had an effect.

Tolerance thing interesting but your bravery is also interesting because this Egyptian like entity doesn't seem like a proper figure to meet at first time.But I realized that it's always easy to take again in an hour for me too and it doesn't matter how beautiful or terrible was last one.Then ecstasy feeling goes away after an hour and I'm starting to think about what weirdness actually happened.And I think more about taking or not taking DMT again ever after every trip.However contradictions are necessary to know and DMT has a lot of contradictions for me...seems like it says me ''stay away from me for being close to me''.

That's what I like to do. Set the foundation and relax, take a few deep breaths, tell my brain 'here it comes,' and just ride. :thumb_up:

The Egyptian thing, as far as I'm concerned, is still completely inexplicable. It can't be explained yet. It is entirely unclear why they happen, or why they happen to certain people. My brother for example took many powerful journeys with me, and had some really deep breakthroughs, but never once saw anything Egyptian, and yet we were smoking the same amount out of the same pipe, vaping technique was all good, but he would never get it, and I would get it frequently. It seems some will get it and some won't, but why that's the case I don't know. I don't see how being the first time or not would discount encountering an Egyptian entity. In my recent thread Ganesha: The DMT Initiator, I've archived over 26 examples posted on this site of different people who encountered the Hindu deity Ganesha on either their first try or early tries. It stands to reason that if one can encounter a Hindu deity on their first shot, an Egyptian one isn't that far fetched.

Most of my strong but sub-breakthrough visuals have had Vedic / Hindu looking designs that move amazingly with inexplicable detail, but my first was more Pre-columbian mezo-American looking. One I had was strangely springtime and Catholic looking, with Renesaince cherubs and such. I never had an Egyptian one.

My two breakthroughs defy any visual or other description, but I feel I'm still partially 'there'.
